We had a wonderful stay here. Our family of 4 was comfortably and felt right at home for our stay. It felt very private yet I could message Sigrun for recommendations and questions anytime and she replied quickly. We highly recommend this location if you plan to visit Iceland. It’s a great ‘home base’ if you want to do day trips.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cottage! Everything was just as pictured in the listing. Very cozy and comfortable. We liked how it was close to Reykjavík (approx. 15 min away) but far enough to enjoy the privacy of the countryside around us. Our host was wonderful and provided us with local tips about the area. We also appreciated the chocolates and bottle of wine. Would highly recommend staying here!!

We had such a wonderful stay here! Just as pictured and the instructions to get in were very easy to follow. Much appreciative to Bjarni as he was quick to respond when we messaged with questions, our flight had been delayed and we were able to stay an hour past checkout free of charge, which was extremely helpful! It is within walking distance to a grocery store, and a short drive to downtown Reykjavík. Parking was a bit confusing at first as all the spots were taken, but Bjarni got back to us right away with an alternate solution. I would highly recommend staying here!
