Really great place that is close to lots of great locations in Gion area. Beautiful neighborhoods and temples all around. Close to a bus stop so it's very easy to commute. Highly recommended!

Outstanding location for our week of exploring Kyoto. Incredibly neat and clean and very comfortable beds. Small and efficient kitchen was great for our simple breakfast/snack needs. The only downside to this place was the cold bathroom in late February and early March. The toilet and shower is an add-on to the rest of the Airbnb. There is no heat in the bath other than the hot water and the heated toilet seat. That made for incredibly brisk morning showers. You take one step outside of the living room to open the door to the toilet and shower. Even with that inconvenience and the cold, this is a fabulous base of operations while visiting Kyoto. It's a terrific neighborhood.
