We were very well welcomed by Jesus upon our arrival, with nice basket of citrus fruits from the garden! magnificent very atypical apartment, with neat and quiet decoration... with a dream terrace! located in a hamlet about 1km from the historic center of Teror ( car recommended because the slopes are steep!) perfect location to visit the north of the island and the mountains... Thank you Jesus!!

We could have not found a greater place to stay in Gran Canaria. Clemens’ house is lovely and has a lovely peaceful garden full of orange trees. There is a beautiful view! I highly recommend staying at Clemens’ if you are looking for a quite place surrounded by nature. Thank you!

Cesar was a kind and generous host. The apartment was larger than we expected and excellent value. San Mateo is a beautiful village and we enjoyed the Sunday Farmers Market, cafes and bars. The supermarkets were well stocked with good quality food. As keen walkers, we used the local buses to explore and found many wonderful routes to suit different levels of walkers. San Mateo is at 850m so cooler than the coast. Outside of the summer, people who are used to beach holidays will need warm clothing for the morning and evening.

We stayed here for 4 nights and really enjoyed this appartment. It is in a quiet town with a wonderful view on the mountains. Close to Las Palmas but also to nice little town in the inland. The host was very friendly and responded quickly. We hope to come back here one day!
