Monthly Rentals in La Bresle

Julie is very kind and speaks pretty good English. The beautiful house has been recently renovated and has all the comforts for families with young children. There are plenty of toys inside and outside the house. We were there in winter and got the house warm, even when it was below zero degrees outside. We could always take a hot shower with four people, so hot water was no problem. The area is very quiet, the house is outside the village of Blangy-sur-Bresle. In fact, it is a country road with 10 houses on it, there is hardly anyone driving along this road. The coast is a half hour drive, and the A28 highway runs along the village.

What a place! This was really above expectations. We arrived in the dark and it felt like we had ended up in a fairytale. You can hear the water flowing, see a little bridge and then the beautifully lit house with mill emerges in front of you. Xavier had completely lit it up in Christmas spheres, inside and out. It was literally and figuratively a warm entry. The interior is incredibly cozy and 'quirky'. In the most positive sense. We felt right at home and were even sorry to stay for 2 nights. It is a house where we think you can stay with great pleasure all year round. If you find this place and the pictures appeal to you? We had a lovely couple of weeks in this historic converted mill. Jean-Pierre has tastefully decorated the house and it has a mixture of old and new. We particularly liked the old refrigerator which is used as a storage cupboard. There are dining tables in the kitchen and in the large open-plan living area, which means you can play games or do puzzles at one and eat at the other if you wish. The shower downstairs is great with lots of hot water and upstairs there is a bath should you wish to indulge yourself. The bedrooms are spacious and cool. Our time there was quiet and relaxing, which is just what we wanted. The house also close to Rouen, Abbeville, Amiens and the coast if you'd like a day trip: we recommend Eu and Mers-les-Bains in particular. Overall this was a great find and Jean-Pierre is a great host!

We really want to thank Richard and Maria for their very clean home, everything is comfortable there. No unpleasant surprises. Very well maintained garden, beautiful terrace and for the interior everything is done to make us feel good. It's very quiet with a beautiful area... it's what we were looking for... we plan to return in the coming months.
