Chalita and her family were some great and hospitable hosts. They were helpful and at the same time respected our privacy. The cabin was incredibly cozy and quiet. Perfect little cabin out in the woods if you want some peace of mind☺️

We had a lovely stay in Akhult, it was much more than we have hoped for. The location right next to lake Fiolen was perfect, the possibility to borrow a rowing boat and the bikes was wonderful for us and the kids (11 and 14 year old). The house is cozy and well equipped and tastefully furnished, you can tell that Erik (Katjas husband) owned a furniture shop and knows a thing or two about wood working. If you are looking for a quiet place in the midst of Smalands vast woodlands I can wholeheartedly recommend Katja's and Erik's house. We were very fortunate to have perfect summer weather in late August and early September. We would love to come back at some point... Thank you so much.

It is an excellent experience to stay with Per and Malin. The sauna, outdoor bathtub, and fire basket make it very cozy. The recommended trails for biking and hiking with a very good Google Maps navigation around the area were a pleasant surprise and made the beautiful nature in småland more accessible.

We stayed in the loghouse for 5 nights together with our toddler and dog. It is a perfect place for a family vacation. At night when our kid slept, we enjoyed the sauna at the pond. The house has everything you need, is clean and warm. Lena was very friendly and welcoming. It is a good base for several daytrips like Storre Mosse, Skurugata, Eksjö. But we also enjoyed the surroundings around the house. Every morning we were greeted by a few deer and we even saw 2 moose from our bedroom.
