Cottage holiday rentals in Lake Como

We stayed at the farm for a family Christmas. Homes and spaces have largely exceeded all guests' expectations. All rooms have a bathroom, and the kitchen is exceptional, equipped with everything. The table had been prepared with care and style, and there was ample space for the kids to play. The common spaces are even equipped with a fireplace and outside there is a garden with some games. The patio, sunny in the morning, has white chairs. Giovanna was welcoming and kind in meeting all our questions or requests and the place is really special. Highly recommended.

It’s safe to say words don’t do this property justice, and it most certainly has to be seen to be believed. Having just returned following a 5 day stay, this property is the best Airbnb that I’ve ever stayed in. Its location is very private, quiet whilst still having easy access to restaurants and shops etc. The apartment itself was absolutely immaculate and the facilities provided were first class. The hosts, Marina & Luca… from making the initial reservation, arrival and departure this couple have been nothing but perfect to deal with. They could not do enough for you and were there whenever you need them and for whatever you need them for. Both are so friendly, caring and hospitable and most certainly make you feel like family. We were kindly offered dinner on our first evening which, I can assure you was the best meal I have ever eaten! Overall I could not recommend this property or its hosts enough, and would certainly not hesitate to visit again! Thank you Marina and Luca

Very nice place, clean, well furnished. Host was great. Free parking is 15 minutes walk from the place.

We were received in a very friendly manner and even received active support in carrying the luggage in. Francesco was always available and gave us great tips. We felt very comfortable in this top clean, beautiful apartment with its own lake access and beautiful views. The kitchen was super equipped and had everything you needed. Our children (8&5 years) loved the small playground in front of the apartment and the free access to the lake at all times. Thank you Francesco for the great time in your apartment,we would definitely recommend it to everyone and will definitely come back next year!

Our stay at Sonia's house was very nice. We've especially enjoyed Sonia's flexibility to check in very late, she guided us to the house and gave us a short tour and tips for the surroundings. The view and the sauna+whirlpool are stunning and very unique. Requests from us during our stay have been answered immediately. We would definitely come back. Thank you!

The accommodation is one of the best places I have visited. It is located in the middle of a horse stable and has everything you need, including towels. Perhaps the only issue we faced was that we couldn't lock the door when we left, but the whole place is secured by a remote-controlled gate, so it felt very safe. In fact, we dropped a glove, and one of the staff members brought it back to us the next day. The hosts were very friendly, kind, and responsive. They even recommended snow spots when we asked them. I highly recommend this place!

We had an amazing stay. Back to nature and calm . To get to the accommodation, we took the gondola in verdasio. The walk is beautiful and little drop. Very clean space, no mouse problem. We had taken our sleeping bags and fitted sheets as recommended in many reviews and it was very comfortable . We weren't cold. We had a great time cooking small dishes on the fire. We will be happy to come back, thank you to Stefano for his responsiveness and the many tips given. Perfect stay. We will be back! Christelle

A very nice week spent with the family in the heights and freshness (welcome!) of Lake Como and the beautiful city of Varenna. The place is located in a natural setting. We were surprised to discover a hot tub! The exteriors are very nice and well equipped ( garden furniture, sun loungers) . The interior is very as described. A good location to explore Lake Como by day. we also spent a day in Milan taking the train to Varenna. Patrizia was very responsive to any inquiries.

It was great to stay in this house. Magnificent view and location. Alessandro was very helpfull en responsive, a great host. We definitley recommend this house and host!

Dear Deborah, thank you for the great time in this beautiful cottage. I was able to enjoy the short break to the fullest. The view from the terrace is outstanding! 😊 I felt very comfortable and above all welcome from the beginning. This accommodation is absolutely recommended! The contact with the landlords was very friendly and warm from the beginning. No question remained unanswered. I got great tips for hikes and restaurants. In the immediate vicinity of the house start great hiking trails, among other things, to two waterfalls! Thank you for the great time! 🤗

it was a pleasure to hold an artist retreat there, the hosts were super friendly and they serve breakfast as well :) we had our privacy and you can get most necesseties in a couple of minutes. we would gladly come again.

Cottage delle fate is a dream come true; the garden is very very spacious, and the house has multiple spots to relax at every hour of the day. Paola is a very responsive and lovely host. We felt very welcome!

As always, we felt very comfortable and took very great tours on foot and by road bike.

We spent 1 week in Michael's Rustico on Oct 24. Romantic, in the middle of the greenery in the slope is the cottage. The kitchen is equipped in case. It is an advantage if you already shop well before arriving in the valley, as there is no shopping in the village itself. It has a pizzeria in the village that is highly recommended. The accommodation is suitable for people who are looking for a break in peace and for slowing down and have no physical disabilities, as you have to take a few steps on foot to get to the house. Wonderful hiking trails are possible from the house ( many meters in altitude), but you are on your own. The hiking trail inscription is partly weathered. A hiking app makes sense. The roads are relatively narrow and valley up the post bus is better used...;) We liked it very much and we would book again at any time. Thank you for the great days, even if the weather didn't always play along.

Wow - what a place! The house, the garden and the Outstanding view from the terrace and pool, and Elena and her husband were extremely nice, responsive and helpful. We would love to come back to this gem!

We had a great night in this little town in the valley. The house is at a very quiet and calm spot, has a lovely terrace and our host was very welcoming.

Together with a colleague we spent a week at Claire's flat to attend a conference in Varenna. The flat is very nice, well equipped, quiet and has a nice view over the lake. If the weather would have been better we could have enjoyed the nice view from the terrace and the garden. It is a 20-30 minutes walk to Varenna along the street (after a short descent). I could imagine this to be a nice flat for a family of four to spend time around the lake (in case you have a car to go around and to go to a supermarket). Before and during our visit the contact was always super friendly, quick and helpful. We very much appreciated her contacting us the day before we had to leave since most trains were down due to a strike. She told us which were still running which was really helpful!

We have already received excellent documentation from Julian with all the details that accompanied us during our stay. The studio is very easy to find and unique in every way. It was completely renovated only recently and is in a very new and very nice condition. A fully equipped, modern kitchen, living room and the wonderful fireplace are on the first floor, on the upper floor a romantic bedroom as well as shower / toilet. The location is extremely quiet - even on the seat you can't hear any traffic noise. All in all, a vacation rental that is worth its price in every respect and that we will certainly book again.

Lovely little house with great terrace and loving touches. We enjoyed our stay despite bad weather.

Wunderschönes Rustico!

It is a very cozy country house in the middle of the mountains on a small winery. We immediately fell in love with this location. The view of the mountains, Lake Maggiore hidden behind palm trees and pampas grass and the Verzasca dam is sensational. It was clean and everything you could need was there. A bit difficult to find, but thanks to Alberto's accessibility by phone, it went very well. A parking space is also available. You have great hiking opportunities, which Alberto sent us as a recommendation. In nearby Gordola you will also find everything you need. We are very happy to come back.
