in the countryside in Arth-Goldau

Brigitte & WimRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Quietly located studio in the ground floor of a larger house next to a farm. A kitchen with 4-burner stove, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine are at your disposal. The town of Goldau is a 15-minute walk away where there are supermarkets and restaurants. We had a pleasant stay here and recommend it to other guests as well.

Cozy Boutique Apartment at Mt. Rigi

Can I just say 5* is nowhere close to giving my host Richard, it shoukd be more, he was and went above and beyond helpful to us. This guy here should get a medal for Air bnb host for the year, is that a thing? We should make it a thing☺️! But seriously my 2 children and I 1 being a teenager felt at home. There were so much information on local places and things to do within the nearby areas, Richard was also very instrumental in helping us to find route to the skiing location. Our trip was so organised thanks to our host. Highly recommend his place. The church bells can be a bit much ringing every hr when indoors, but apart from that we were very happy with our stay and out mostly. I will return for sure. Thanks a mill.

Studio with private seating

Great place and stay. Communication was easy and everything as described. Place is very well equipped and inviting for an extended stay. Only thing to keep in mind when staying longer is that the apartment is in a semi-basement, hence, a bit of a musty smell.

Arth am Zugersee and Rigi ....Centrally located

OlgaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Positives: The apartment is very clean and has pretty much everything you might need. The host Rita is very friendly and helpful! The bus stop is in front of the apartment. And there is a small grocery store just 5 min away on foot. Possible downsides to consider: - The house is on a busy road. It is only quiet at around 0-4am. It can get pretty loud - There is a church nearby that rings the bell every 15 or 30 min. - There are no mosquito nets on the windows. One night I caught 8 mosquitos in the room. Rita was very helpful and gave me a mosquito net, I put it on one window. - There are no blinds, so consider a sleeping mask. - The location is not very convenient if you plan to explore the area. The station where all the connections are is 30-40 min away on foot or a 15-20 min bus drive. The supermarkets are also around the station. - The wifi is very unstable in the kitchen, and doesn’t connect on the terrace
