Alban’s Lodge was the perfect place to get away from it all. So quiet & peaceful yet within easy reach of so many places of interest., as well as good pubs, restaurants and shops. Lovely walks straight from the door and lovely views across the Kent countryside. Sarah and Alastair were most welcoming and there if you needed them but otherwise invisible. The Lodge was spotless with lovely kitchen & bathrooms but the bedrooms were something else. Both a really good size with the comfiest super king beds you could wish for - what bliss & quite rare in the Airbnb world. There are no live tv channels & the internet signal is sketchy but 4G reception was not too bad and with around 200 DVDs to choose from there is plenty to keep you entertained!! All in all absolutely splendid.

This charming Pool Shed was the absolute perfect place to stay for my husband and I for a short weekend away from every day routine. The location was incredibly convenient, just a quick 9-minute drive to the lovely restaurant for dinner recommend by Toby and Kate. The cottage itself was beautiful, comfortable and very clean. The warm welcoming with pleasant music and logs burning in the stove waiting for us,was an absolute surprise for my husband and most thoughtful greeting from the host we ever had. Thank you Toby and Kate. We would highly recommend this lovely place to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing time away from home. We can't wait to come back for our next visit.

This comfortable, modern, well- equipped place for 1-2 people is a little treasure. It has everything necessary for a self catering break, all clean and in excellent condition. The two ring cooker hob was up to date enough for me to use my espresso maker- always a bonus! The electric radiator is simple to use and gets the room cosy in no time The bed is comfortable and the location quiet and conducive to rest. Nick and Jane provided a warm welcome and they went the extra mile for me, offering transportation to the course I was attending and helping out when I mistakenly left my belongings there on the first day. The place is located in beautiful countryside and has privacy but friendly people nearby if needed. I thought this accommodation was very good value and hope this remains the case, as it makes a change!

We stayed for one night to celebrate a birthday with friends and it was really lovely! Very clean, lots of cutlery/ glasses and plates to use, tea and coffee ready to use. We had a great stay and was worth the money!! It was a great space and really warm and cozy! Would come again
