Régis and Adele are very friendly hosts, available and attentive. The house is very cute and especially placed in an exotic environment for those who, like us, arrive directly from the city. The birdsong, the sound of the water, the donkeys and the horses in front: a joy! We had a delicious weekend in Normandy 😊 for the recommendations of Régis and Adele who allowed us to make very pleasant outings (we recommend the educational farm of Navarre for the happiness of the little ones😉). And the Scandinavian-style bathroom photos don't lie!

A Wonderful Escape at Maison à la Compagne! We had the pleasure of staying at Maison la Compagne, and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect getaway. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and a beautifully designed home that perfectly blends rustic charm with modern comforts. The property itself is stunning – set in a peaceful, tranquil location surrounded by nature. The house was spotless, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the scenery. The outdoor areas, including a lovely garden and patio, provided the perfect setting for meals or simply enjoying a book with a cup of coffee. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, offering helpful tips about the area and ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is ideal for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city – quiet, serene, and yet close enough to local attractions for day trips. We collected some eggs from the chickens from the garden.

Had a lovely Friday night at Caroline & Cyril’s lodge. They were very helpful with directions, Cyril even waited outside to wave us down. The lodge itself was very clean and clearly recently renovated with beautiful views of the fields and surrounding wooded areas. Taking a walk down the river past the geese, swans and ducks is a must. Would recommend this place, it’s beautiful.
