Monthly Rentals in Lomba

We unfortunately never really stayed at José's place, given that at the moment of our stay there was a forest fire pretty close to the house. José provided us updates about the status of the forest fire in a very detailed and proactive way. Given the situation he proposed himself to reimburse us for the first night stay, while we stayed at a hotel. In the end we cancelled the whole stay, given that the forest fire was expected to be active for a good amount of or stay. José accepted that without any issue, which was very much appreciated. We will definitely keep this house on our list for our next stay in Portugal!

We spent a lovely nine days at Antonio’s place.

The place is absolutely amazing, offering breathtaking views of the Douro River. The air is incredibly fresh, adding to the serene and peaceful atmosphere. The hot tub is definitely a highlight—it's an awesome jacuzzi experience perched high on the mountain. The house itself is the last one at the mountain top, providing total privacy with nothing but deep forest beyond. It's well-equipped, cozy, and warm, making it the perfect retreat for relaxation. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. The location was perfect, and we truly felt at home. Would definitely stay here again, highly recommended!
