We really enjoyed our stay in North Berwick. The house was so handy for everything. With shops and restaurants on the same street and an easy walk to the station and the beach. There was no issues with noise and we loved relaxing in the conservatory during the day and the lounge in the evening. We would definitely book again.

This house was exactly as advertised. Spacious and beautiful. Perfect for two families. Check in was easy and Jacki was very responsive.

The place was absolutely stunning. We were awestruck by the gorgeous interior. Visitors can expect a fantastic time staying in the accommodation. However, having a vehicle to travel is a must. There is parking available. Indoor heating (radiators) is provided in every room and common areas. Fireplace was used during our stay in the winter season. The host is very responsive and friendly. While the location provided is accurate. The drive up to the accommodation can erroneous as google map did not consider the closures at Forest Drive. Hence, it will be good to check with the host properly.

we have just left Howford house after a lovely 3 night weekend stay to celebrate my husbands 40th. we were a family of 14 adults, 2 children and a newborn baby and we had the most peaceful comfortable stay. the house is fantastic, it has everything you need and the location although super private and peaceful, it was near restaurants, the coop supermarket, Traquair House and land which we got discounted because we were house guests, and lots of walks and hikes. the surrounding acres were stunning with the frost and autumn leaves. we all loved our stay, the kids (and the adults) didn't want to leave. special thanks to Elaine the housekeeper who was brilliant with her communication and help. we will recommend and be back in the future.

Great place for a large family gathering which is why we selected it. House and garden a real hit for both human and canine guests. Garden in particular had lots of options, particularly for energetic children. By closing the main gate it can easily be secured. Location is within walking distance of St. Andrews along the foot / cycle path, though this involves crossing a busy main road. We enjoyed coffees / lunches at Balgove Farm Shop and good old traditional fish and chips from Cromar in the town. Cairnie Fruit Farm (near Cupar) also worth a visit - good cafe and adventure playground, with the benefit of fresh berries in season. All in all a good choice, if a little expensive

This house is stunning. Much larger than the photos suggest, extremely well equipped, very very comfortable and spacious and the perfect place for a large family gathering with no chance of anyone feeling they can't have any quiet space. So much space both inside and out. We took turns cooking the family meals in the wonderful kitchen. We definitely had a much needed family celebratory long weekend for a new baby due in December, two wedding anniversaries, 5 birthdays, a UK residency and hopefully a new job all happening in lock-down, plus a postponed wedding and to gather strength for an unexpected major operation. We loved it and only left the house on one occasion in order to make the most of the house! We will definitely be back to this wonderful special house and would highly recommend it. Really enjoyed our stay for a family celebration, great open plan kitchen, living, dining and garden lovely for spending time altogether. Flexible bedrooms - able to make one a twin. Clean, well equipped and luxurious feel. Two full bathrooms. Street is quiet, feels safe and parking easy, no shops, cafes, bars etc. within close walking distance. Bus or Uber both easy to get into city centre and was nice to escape the hustle and bustle after a day sightseeing and at the festival. Suspect price was higher due to time of year and compared to other properties we viewed were very happy we chose this one. Rachel was very prompt with communication, instructions, restaurant recommendations and help when required.

Great stay, made great memories and was a birthday to remember. Will defo keep in mind for future bookings!

Very welcoming upon arrival, showed us where everything is. Good appliances. Comfy atmosphere. Very willing couple, will help you out with what they can! Eg; directions, places to eat/drink. Hot tub nice and clean. Can’t fault the place or the hosts. Genuinely a good night stay. Recommend 100%

To only give this Airbnb a 5 star rating feels very unfair, if I could have given it higher I would have. The property was beautifully presented, had amazing large communal spaces, with a very high standard of furniture, furnishings, and cleanliness. Our room was spacious and luxurious. The beds were great quality, and it was full of nice extra touches. The hosts were extremely generous, gracious, and friendly. A fantastic experience for us that will be hard for anyone else to top. We will definitely try to book this accommodation in the future when we are in the area. I have been fortunate enough to have many great experiences using Airbnb, but this was easily the Best.

The place is amazing! So warm for such a big space because downstairs was all under floor heating, very modern with a lovely rustic feel. Spotless, lovely and clean. The beds were MASSIVE and so comfortable, the showers were brilliant. One of the nicest places I have stayed in, definitely worth the price.
