Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Madeira

The house is nice, but there are a few things to keep in mind. Since it is located in the mountains, it is not properly heated, and it was occasionally chilly inside. Additionally, the house is situated near a road with frequent noisy traffic, which can be disruptive. The location listed in the advertisement was incorrect and led us to a spot about 500 meters away from the actual house. Furthermore, the house is several kilometers from the waterfront, and there’s nowhere to walk nearby as there are no sidewalks. On the positive side, the hosts left us wine, cheese, and a local cake, which was a nice gesture. The jacuzzi was in good working order, adding to the comfort. However, caution is needed with the staircase in the house — it is quite steep, and there’s a risk of slipping. Overall, the stay was fine, but some aspects might not suit everyone.

For everyone considering this house; do it! The location is amazing, the rooms are great and the living room & kitchen are very spacious. The jacuzzi on the roof terrace is a great addition aswell, which we used every single day. Most important of all, the view is AMAZING. We had 2 days of very bad weather, but just sitting there at the huge windows watching the view was fantastic.

Eine schöne und saubere Wohnung mit einem sehr schönen Ausblick - wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt :) Tipp: die Straße zum Haus von oben anfahren, da diese sehr steil und eng ist - der Parkplatz ist nichts für große Autos😉

Three generations from Granny at 67 to 4 year old grandson had a wonderful stay in this lovely house. So spacious with smaller seating areas for a little quiet time, fantastic pool and views of the ocean and sunsets. Shady spots in the garden or full sunshine and beautiful outside dining area. The kitchen was big enough for us all and the open cooking fire a bonus to our barbeque fan. It was well equipped with plenty of cutlery, glasses, etc. Lovely welcome fruit bowl - the bananas were the best ever - milk, cake, wine, beer, teabags, condiments and dishwasher tablets all there ready for us. The back kitchen with washing machines and drier and a brilliant sink for scrubbing muddy shoes after one of our lavada walks. Perfect Granny and Grandad suite on ground floor with huge shower, multiple bathrooms on the other floors and Maria stayed to help us reconfigure the beds to fit our family groups. A car is essential to get the most out of this beautiful island. We loved it - thank you!

Wir waren 13 Tage im März in der Casa Requinte von Rosa und haben uns vom ersten Moment an wie zuhause gefühlt. Das Haus ist stilvoll, gemütlich und sehr gut ausgestattet – besonders die Küche lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die ruhige Lage war perfekt zum Abschalten: Abends im Whirlpool zu liegen und den Vögeln zu lauschen, war einfach traumhaft. Wanderungen, vor allem bei Rabaçal, sind ganz in der Nähe. Alles war sehr sauber, und uns wurde sogar eine Zwischenreinigung angeboten. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war schnell und herzlich. Abends sorgte der Pelletofen für eine tolle Atmosphäre, und das integrierte Bluetooth-Heimsoundsystem war ein echtes Highlight – sowas haben wir in einem Airbnb noch nie erlebt. Rundum eine perfekte Unterkunft – wir kommen definitiv

Das Haus hat uns sehr gut gefallen, es hat eine perfekte Lage, wir würden es jederzeit wieder buchen.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in Luis Unterkunft. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt und man hatte alles was man braucht, die Unterkunft war sauber und ordentlich. Mit dem Auto ist alles gut erreichbar und es gibt zahlreiche Parkplätze. Luis hat uns immer schnell geantwortet und war bei Fragen sofort erreichbar. Er hat uns empfehlungen für Unternehmungen gesagt und uns Früchte geschenkt, total nett! Ich empfehle es definitiv weiter! Es gab nichts was uns gestört hat. Vielen Dank 🙏

We had an exceptional stay at Casa do Lombada. The property itself is gorgeous, with stunning ocean views out of every window. Ponto do Sol is a wonderful and central home base for Madeira. But it was really José’s warm welcome and hospitality that set this stay apart for us. He was extremely communicative prior to our arrival and met us with a beautiful spread of treats to warmly welcome us to Madeira. We had a wonderful time and hope to return again soon. We recommend this property—and Madeira!—to you enthusiastically and without hesitation.

Filipe’s place is amazing - our family of 4 stayed there for 6 nights - the house is in the perfect location, close to Funchal if you want to be close to the city, but in a very private location with an amazing view and the perfect outdoor set up with a heated pool and hot tub after a long days hike. The house is by far the best stocked airbnb we have stayed in - he supplies everything from paper towels to toilet paper - it truly feels like you are staying at a friends house. Not only the inside kitchen, but you can tell he is a chef as the outside covered patio has everything you need to prepare outside meals….not that we ever did as the food on the island was so good!. Don’t hesitate to book - we were 4 people, but could easily accommodate 6 people with 3 bedrooms that all have amazing views. Last comment - DEFINITELY make reservations at his restaurant, it’s one of the best on the island by far - we ate there twice and Filipe made you feel like family. The food was amazing!!!

Gut ausgestattete Unterkunft mit allem was man braucht in einer eher ruhigen Wohngegend oberhalb von Funchal-Zentrum. Alles war sehr sauber, großartiger Ausblick von der schönen Terrasse. Auto konnte direkt vor der Tür geparkt werden und es fuhren regelmäßig Busse direkt vor der Tür oder wenige Minuten Fußweg entfernt. Und nicht zuletzt war die Kommunikation mit Pedro hervorragend. Sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit, schnelle Antworten und wir konnten früher ein- und später aus-checken als angegeben.

Maison en bout de chemin, un véritable havre de paix. Nous n'avons pas pu faire la connaissance de Fernando, toutefois il a répondu du tac au tac à tous nos messages, très à l'écoute de notre bien être. Un panier de fruits et des œufs nous attendaient à notre arrivée et la femme de Fernando est passée nous dire au revoir avec un présent, merci à eux. Juste un petit conseil pour ceux qui comme nous auront droit à 10 jours de pluie, je pense que l'idéal (si vous n'êtes pas 4, bien sûr) est de s'installer dans la chambre de l'étage qui semble moins humide.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Der Check-In war unkompliziert, alles war sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet. Vor allem die Kommunikation mit unserem Vermieter war super unkompliziert und schnell. Der Blick auf den Ort und das Meer ist einfach traumhaft, der Pool echt schön. Der Weg zum Haus ist sehr schmal, als sicherer Autofahrer aber machbar. Außerdem wurden wir vorher gewarnt. Insgesamt ein super Aufenthalt, wir können die Unterkunft allen wärmstens empfehlen!

Nasz pobyt przebiegł wspaniałe! Dom niezwykle nowoczesny, przestronny, swietnie wyposażony i czysty. Byliśmy pod wrażeniem poziomu przygotowania! Lokalizacja bardzo dobra. Blisko do drogi głównej, marketu, restauracji. Cudowny widok na ocean z tarasu i okien sypialni. Bardzo serdeczni dziękujemy i polecamy!

I stayed here for a week with my husband and it was lovely! The villa is even better than the photos suggest, and it was extremely clean. Hot tub and pool were amazing (although the pool was heated, it wasn't super warm). The views were fantastic day or night! It's just over an hour's (downhill) walk to the old town - we only ended up doing it once as there are numerous local buses that can get you there much more quickly. Taxis via Bolt are also cheap and readily available. It's also in a great location to get the 81 bus out to the Valley of the Nuns. It's about 7 minute walk to a local supermarket and there are a couple of bars and cafes nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

Wunderschönes Haus in ruhiger Lage mit Meerblick. Detaillierte Check-in Beschreibung und schnelle Reaktion auf Nachrichten durch Tobias und Vivian. Mehr als genug Platz für 5-6 Erwachsene und viele schöne kleine Extras. Definitiv ein Highlight auf unserer Madeira Reise! Wer den Hot Tub nutzen möchte, muss einige Vorbereitungszeit einplanen sowie Holz im Supermarkt kaufen.

Beautiful house in a peaceful location surrounded by banana trees. Well equiped. Nice confortable jacuzzi. Definerly need a car to get there. Drive may be challenging in the beggining by the house is worth it!!! We loved our time there. Thank you so much!!!
