Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Madeira

The house is nice, but there are a few things to keep in mind. Since it is located in the mountains, it is not properly heated, and it was occasionally chilly inside. Additionally, the house is situated near a road with frequent noisy traffic, which can be disruptive. The location listed in the advertisement was incorrect and led us to a spot about 500 meters away from the actual house. Furthermore, the house is several kilometers from the waterfront, and there’s nowhere to walk nearby as there are no sidewalks. On the positive side, the hosts left us wine, cheese, and a local cake, which was a nice gesture. The jacuzzi was in good working order, adding to the comfort. However, caution is needed with the staircase in the house — it is quite steep, and there’s a risk of slipping. Overall, the stay was fine, but some aspects might not suit everyone.

For everyone considering this house; do it! The location is amazing, the rooms are great and the living room & kitchen are very spacious. The jacuzzi on the roof terrace is a great addition aswell, which we used every single day. Most important of all, the view is AMAZING. We had 2 days of very bad weather, but just sitting there at the huge windows watching the view was fantastic.

A nice and clean apartment with a very nice view - we had a great stay :) Tip: drive up the road to the house from above as it is very steep and narrow - the parking space is not for big cars😉

Three generations from Granny at 67 to 4 year old grandson had a wonderful stay in this lovely house. So spacious with smaller seating areas for a little quiet time, fantastic pool and views of the ocean and sunsets. Shady spots in the garden or full sunshine and beautiful outside dining area. The kitchen was big enough for us all and the open cooking fire a bonus to our barbeque fan. It was well equipped with plenty of cutlery, glasses, etc. Lovely welcome fruit bowl - the bananas were the best ever - milk, cake, wine, beer, teabags, condiments and dishwasher tablets all there ready for us. The back kitchen with washing machines and drier and a brilliant sink for scrubbing muddy shoes after one of our lavada walks. Perfect Granny and Grandad suite on ground floor with huge shower, multiple bathrooms on the other floors and Maria stayed to help us reconfigure the beds to fit our family groups. A car is essential to get the most out of this beautiful island. We loved it - thank you!

We stayed at Rosa's Casa Requinte for 13 days in March and felt at home from the first moment. The house is stylish, cozy and very well equipped – especially the kitchen leaves nothing to be desired. The quiet location was perfect for unwinding: lying in the hot tub in the evening and listening to the birds was simply fantastic. Hikes, especially at Rabaçal, are close by. Everything was very clean, and we were even offered an intermediate cleaning. Communication with the host was quick and warm. In the evening, the pellet stove provided a great atmosphere, and the integrated Bluetooth home sound system was a real highlight – we have never experienced this in an Airbnb. A perfect place to stay all around – we're definitely coming

We had a wonderful time at Luis's place. We immediately felt comfortable and you had everything you needed, the accommodation was clean and tidy. Everything is easily accessible by car and there are numerous parking spaces. Luis always responded to us quickly and was immediately available for questions. He told us recommendations for things to do and gave us fruits, totally nice! Definitely recommend! There was nothing that bothered us. Thank you 🙏

We had an exceptional stay at Casa do Lombada. The property itself is gorgeous, with stunning ocean views out of every window. Ponto do Sol is a wonderful and central home base for Madeira. But it was really José’s warm welcome and hospitality that set this stay apart for us. He was extremely communicative prior to our arrival and met us with a beautiful spread of treats to warmly welcome us to Madeira. We had a wonderful time and hope to return again soon. We recommend this property—and Madeira!—to you enthusiastically and without hesitation.

Filipe’s place is amazing - our family of 4 stayed there for 6 nights - the house is in the perfect location, close to Funchal if you want to be close to the city, but in a very private location with an amazing view and the perfect outdoor set up with a heated pool and hot tub after a long days hike. The house is by far the best stocked airbnb we have stayed in - he supplies everything from paper towels to toilet paper - it truly feels like you are staying at a friends house. Not only the inside kitchen, but you can tell he is a chef as the outside covered patio has everything you need to prepare outside meals….not that we ever did as the food on the island was so good!. Don’t hesitate to book - we were 4 people, but could easily accommodate 6 people with 3 bedrooms that all have amazing views. Last comment - DEFINITELY make reservations at his restaurant, it’s one of the best on the island by far - we ate there twice and Filipe made you feel like family. The food was amazing!!!

Well-equipped accommodation with everything you need in a rather quiet residential area above Funchal center. Everything was very clean, great view from the beautiful terrace. Car could be parked right outside the door and there were regular buses right outside the door or a few minutes' walk away. And last but not the least, communication with Pedro was excellent. Very friendly, helpful, quick responses and we were able to check in earlier and check out later than indicated.

House at the end of the road, a haven of peace. We were not able to meet Fernando, however he responded tac to all our messages, very attentive to our well-being. A basket of fruit and eggs were waiting for us when we arrived and Fernando's wife came by to say goodbye with a present, thank you to them. Just a little tip for those like us who will be entitled to 10 days of rain, I think the ideal (if there are not 4 of you, of course) is to settle into the upstairs room which seems less humid.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Check-in was uncomplicated, everything was very clean and modernly furnished. Especially the communication with our landlord was super straightforward and fast. The view of the place and the sea is simply fantastic, the pool really beautiful. The pathway to get the house is very narrow, but feasible as a safe driver. We were also warned beforehand. Overall a great stay, we highly recommend the place to everyone!

Our stay went wonderful! Extremely modern, spacious, well-equipped, and clean. We were very impressed with the level of preparation! Very good location. Close to main road, market, restaurant. Wonderful ocean view from the deck and bedroom windows. Thank you very much and we recommend!

I stayed here for a week with my husband and it was lovely! The villa is even better than the photos suggest, and it was extremely clean. Hot tub and pool were amazing (although the pool was heated, it wasn't super warm). The views were fantastic day or night! It's just over an hour's (downhill) walk to the old town - we only ended up doing it once as there are numerous local buses that can get you there much more quickly. Taxis via Bolt are also cheap and readily available. It's also in a great location to get the 81 bus out to the Valley of the Nuns. It's about 7 minute walk to a local supermarket and there are a couple of bars and cafes nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful house in a quiet location with sea views. Detailed check-in description and quick response to messages by Tobias and Vivian. More than enough space for 5-6 adults and lots of nice little extras. Definitely a highlight on our Madeira trip! If you want to use the hot tub, you have to schedule some preparation time as well as buy wood in the supermarket.

Beautiful house in a peaceful location surrounded by banana trees. Well equiped. Nice confortable jacuzzi. Definerly need a car to get there. Drive may be challenging in the beggining by the house is worth it!!! We loved our time there. Thank you so much!!!
