Loft holiday rentals in Madeira

In short: Simply amazing! The accommodation is just perfect! They were wonderful days in Madeira. Christina is a super nice hostess and has given us many tips for the area. We wanted to stay even longer...

Near the beach and boulevard where there are many eateries. Everything at walking distance. The private parking space is also very handy.

Ana is a great host, very friendly and responsive - I was able to leave my suitcase before check-in and check out later than cut off time. The small garden where you can pick up greens gives this place a unique touch. The room is small but very cozy and warm (in the meaning of home like feeling). It has floor to ceiling glass entrance/window, so in the day time I needed to choose between curtained privacy and daylight, but with privacy chosen lack of daylight was not an issue for me. Madeira Shopping Mall with big supermarket with everything needed is 5 minutes walk. I did not have a car, and I preferred to walk to the city center which took me about 40 min, but public transport is available and Bolt is not expensive. I enjoyed my stay and can recommend it to everyone who prefers quiet location with a home touch, remote but not too far from Funchal buzz.

I recommend everyone to visit! Great town, beautiful garden with bananas and pomegranates. Lovely hosts, cozy and peaceful.

We spent three nights in the very nice and clean place. This is located just above and therefore offers a beautiful view of the sea including breakfast with morning sun. The place is rather small, but offers everything you need. The kitchen is good and equipped with all necessary kitchen utensils. The bathroom is very nice and large in relation to the living space. In summary... we had a wonderful stay at the Quinta da Vila and would come back right away - Thank you to the hosts.

Great location for those who don't necessarily want to live in the heart of Funchal. Ease of access to different services: city buses, food shops, restaurants, shopping mall, car rental, etc. Tranquility and cleanliness of the premises, well-maintained swimming pool, superb view from the small balcony, soothing wave noise, proximity to the very pleasant seaside promenade. Very welcoming and friendly host, very available to facilitate a pleasant stay in Funchal. Only downside: access to the accommodation a little difficult with heavy suitcases due to the topography of the premises (steeply sloping street) , possible difficulties in finding a parking space daily to park, and recurrent renovation work inside the building generating somewhat annoying noise especially if you have to or want to stay there during the day.

Amazing location with beautiful ocean views, easily accessible and very clean. Henrique was present on check-in even though we were a few hours late, and walked us through everything we needed to know. He also gave us recommendations of activities and restaurants nearby. Parking was an issue at times but with a huge car park (paid) behind the complex, it was never too much of a problem. Overall an enjoyable and pleasant experience 10/10 would recommend.

Isabel was very easy to communicate with and we really enjoyed our stay here in Madeira! She even did our laundry for us halfway through our stay:)) would definitely recommend booking with her!

Akira and his wife were excellent hosts. They were very responsive and flexible/accommodating with our check in time due to cancelled flights. We appreciated this so much! Home was very clean, view from the balcony is excellent, pool was great. Walk to the Main Street is very doable, and is all down hill (we cabbed/bolt home because of this). Would 100% recommend to anyone!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb. We were only here for 3 nights but wish we were here for longer. The accommodation was in the perfect location for our trip up and had everything we needed. We would love to stay again

Dany’s loft was perfect for our 5 days in Madeira! Great location made it easy to explore the island, and the loft had everything to make us feel right at home! It was a beautiful location on top of the hill, with a lovely outdoor courtyard and a functional space for a longer stay! Would definitely stay again when back in Madeira

The Hosting Award, after 28 Air BnB stays, goes to Ruben, ably assisted by Maria, with Ruben’s parents as supporting cast. We were met, assisted with our luggage and oriented to the apartment. We saw Ruben and Maria frequently, usually daily. Messages were responded to quickly any time. There were a few issues during our 10 week stay and each was addressed quickly and satisfactorily. The apartment is eccentric in decoration but very functional. The location is excellent with nice views over the street and nearby plaza, great for people watching. It’s about as close to the waterfront as you can get, a two minute walk. There is no vehicle traffic around the apartment. There is no need to go more than 5 minutes to find a considerable variety of restaurants and the sand swim beach. There are at least 4 restaurants literally within 1 minute of the front door, including directly across the street. Overall an exceptional stay. Do be aware you go up one broad easy flight of stairs.

Such a lovely Airbnb! The parking was a bonus. Thoughtful details like a little hiking boot cleaning kit were welcome additions to an already great apartment. Patio was perfection for relaxing. The hosts were friendly and available, and the little gift shop downstairs was just perfect for unique Portuguese gifts.
