Cottage holiday rentals in Manchester

Me, my partner and kids had a lovely stay here. Place was spotless, nice and big, then with the added hot tub and sauna. All exactly what we all needed after a couple of days at Alton towers. Scott was very quick to respond with any questions we ask. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay.

A hidden gem! We had a lovely long weekend here at the wonderful Stables - lots to do in the area, nice and peaceful with a range of local walks. Only 20 minutes on the train to Manchester - we will definitely be staying here again!

We had a wonderful stay here! Great location, with a short 20 minute walk into Buxton. The cottage was clean and cosy. We loved the wood fire and hot tub. Would definitely recommend and return in future

Just a little getaway after Valentine’s Day with my girlfriend and a must say what a gem of a place. Calm and peaceful surroundings with all the amenities you need inside the cottage, Cosy, Clean and beautiful, everything you need for a few days away to take your mind off things. The hot tub is a brilliant place after a long day to chill, relax and take your mind off everything that is going on. We will definitely be returning to this wonderful little place in the not too distant future. 👍

This was a fantastic little stay! The self check in made it easy and hassle free which after a 5 hour journey, was much appreciated. There was good parking to the side of the property which we made the most of. The place itself was incredibly clean, peaceful and all round beautiful in its simplicity. We were left some food essentials (wine (most important of course), eggs, milk, butter, bread etc) which is a small touch but so thoughtful. The hot tub was also left on which we jumped right into! And using it was easy to do and a real selling point after a day of hiking. Popular hikes are 25-45 minutes away by car which was more than manageable for us. Manchester was also accessible via train by a 10 minute car journey to the station and a 25 minute train journey- we did this from Hattersley. We even met the hosts who arrived just after we were checking out and both were absolutely lovely! Friendly, welcoming and incredibly receptive to us. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

11 adults and one dog visiting and we all had a lovely time. Everything in the house was well thought out from the amount of cutlery and crockery to setting out special towels for the dog upon arrival. The location is superb with gorgeous scenery and great walks but also with a local town with well known shops for supplies. The hot tubs were a great feature and the large TVs made enjoying ourselves very easy! Would definitely recommend and even stay again.

The Old Barn is spacious and comfortable - just watch for some low hanging lights if you are tall! The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking. The hot tub is great and the whole place is private. There is a narrow, steep track to get down to the lodges, but the roads and parking on the site itself are good.

Amazing little bolt hole just outside Buxton. Perfect for exploring the town and the nearby countryside. We would definitely recommend!

Beautiful little cottage - perfect place to stay for an adventure in the Peak District! Also great for dogs with baby gates installed to keep them downstairs, it’s lovely to have these things already in place!

Wow what a beautiful home. So clean, fresh smell though out. Comfortable beds. Plenty of Clean cutlery. Everything you need and more. Very spacious and although it’s near a road, very quiet too. Beautiful views for the windows and balcony. Plenty to explore nearby. I would definitely recommend and even visit again Thanks

We enjoyed a 2 night stay at Rosey Bank cottage. We wanted somewhere peaceful and with access to good walks. Rosey Bank cottage didn't dissapoint. It had walks direct from the doorstep. The cottage itself was spacious, spread over 3 floors. It had everything we needed to make our stay a comfortable one. There is a nice seating area in the back garden, and it is a bit of a suntrap if you are lucky enough to stay when the sun is shining!!

Well what a beautiful place! Definitely re-visiting in the future. Gemma was so helpful and made us feel right at home! The livestock and surroundings made us feel at home with what we know. Such a clean, friendly and lovely stay. Thank you

Really loved our stay it was great! The house had great facilities, lovely and cosy living room, great location for lots of walks! Just a tip to taller people staying make sure you bend going through the front door as my partner bumped his head a few times - all other doorways are fine :)

This was our first experience of air bnb and it was seamless. Evangeline was great. The information she provided was great and the cottage was exactly as described. It was perfect for us with little children and an elderly relative with mobility issues. The downstairs bedroom along with downstairs bathroom and shower facilities was exactly what we needed. I would definitely recommend.

Richard’s place was perfect for a long weekend family getaway. The house is cosy and welcoming, with everything you need. The location is a great base to explore the surrounding countryside and in easy walking distance of several pubs and cafes in the centre of Delph. We would more than happily stay here again in the future.

The cottage was just as describe and what we need leading up to the wedding we attended on Easter Saturday. Peaceful and beautiful views. A nice touch were the breakfast provisions and the lemon drizzle cake. I would have no hesitation on recommending the cottage, we stayed in cottage 2 and hope to return in the future.

We had a lovely stay in this cottage which had gorgeous views over the Marsden Moors. The cottage was great, very clean and super comfortable. Easy walk into the town of Marsden with access to Co-op. There are many great walks in the area which go right past the cottage.

Jane's cottage was perfect. It was spotless, recently renovated, well equipped and cosy. Just what we needed for our short stay. Jane was really accommodating, and her communication was great. I would definitely recommend her cottage to anyone visiting the Peaks.

We had a fab time staying with Kate and Adrian. The cottage was immaculate and stocked with all sorts of goodies, we felt right at home. In a great location in the village, close to a few pubs and restaurants and a village shop, and plenty of walks nearby. We can't wait to come back again soon, and hopefully tackle Kinder Scout!

Jack & Nicki’s place was lovely, we would definitely stay again. The property was nice and clean, the kitchen and bathroom were exceptionally clean and spacious. All Essentials were all provided, fresh flowers & an Easter egg each for the kids was a lovely touch. Easy to check in and out with clear instructions and easy to find. We have found Niki is a great host, very helpful and responsive whenever we had a question she was quick to reply with detailed information. Thank you for letting your property to us we had a lovely time.

The cottage was beautiful, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. We also enjoyed the short walk through the park into the lovely town of Knutsford.
