Great value, only 10 minutes from Beaver Valley Ski Club, quiet and safe neighbourhood, great space and rooms!

We had a wonderful stay! The cottage was so cute and cozy and had everything we needed! We had lots of snow during our visit, and loved getting to enjoy the peaceful and private property. We even dug out the campfire pit for a winter fire! Even with all the snow, we were warm and comfortable, with the portable heater coming in handy to warm up after trekking through the snow! Jaclyn was so thoughtful and helpful as a host! We were very well taken care of! I would highly recommend staying here if you want a relaxing, peaceful, and cozy getaway surrounded by nature!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The place is exactly what we are looking for. Very cozy and quiet, nice hikes and most of all, the amazing animals. The girls spent hours hanging out with the horses and the pigs. Our time here was very memorable. There are amazing hikes nearby, small towns like Markdale and Flasherton and both have small restaurants, shops and cafes. John and Andrea are simply great! They are extremely kind and generous with their time. Excellent advice all the time, great conversations and will offer anything to make our stay more enjoyable. John let us help with the daily shores and feeding the animals. He also gave us excellent ideas for hikes, local attractions, etc. We are really looking forward to going there again next spring or summer.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! This cozy cabin on the hill is a true gem—so peaceful! From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The space was spotless, well-equipped, and full of thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing retreat or an adventure in nature, this place has it all. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, ensuring every detail was perfect. We can’t wait to come back - and we will - highly recommend!
