Kyle’s place in a nice and secluded place to stay. He provided lots of very helpful information, the ferry was easy to navigate. The fire place was definitely helpful for the cold nights in October, the hot shower was super nice to warm up at the end of the day. Location recommended were great as well, we were able to get fresh lobster to take home with us before leaving Maine. The island itself is very enjoyable, as well as being close to Acadia

We loved Kristin’s place so much we came back! Kristin was as helpful and responsive as ever and the location is just as beautiful in the fall as it was this summer. The wood stove was put to use and the cabin was so warm and cozy. Highly recommend !

Swans Island is quiet and beautiful, and Gregory's place is well-provisioned whether you want to stay inside and watch movies on a stormy day or venture out to explore. The house is comfortable with a cozy but spacious upstairs and shelves of books, board games, and puzzles. The kitchen is stocked with dishes and cooking utensils as well as a large refrigerator. The crows nest is a huge feature, we spent many hours sat up there watching the sky change around us; it is beautifully constructed and truly unique! The ferry provided consistent access to the mainland and made Acadia reasonably within reach (with some get up and go and awareness of time later in the day), and it was wonderful to see the park in all its winter glory. This was an excellent stay and great value, and just the kind of quiet we were hoping for!
