Tony and Aileen’s annex was a warm welcoming space. Ideal homely place to return to after a day out. Excellently appointed and spotlessly clean. Tony and Aileen were very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend and I’m sure we will return. Thank you.

We had such a lovely stay! The lodge was so cosy. When we arrived, as it started to get a little dark, with the porch light on waiting for us it looked so inviting, as was the free welcome treats. It was lovely waking up to watch the birds on the feeders in the mornings and winding down with the lamps and movie on in the evenings. Nice walks and towns a short drive away.

We booked The Tack room very last minute (the day before). We just needed a stop over for our family of 3 (plus dog), but this place was so much more than that. The little garden was so peaceful and secure so I could relax with my daughter, not having to worry what the dog might escape. I wouldn’t recommend the sofa bed being used for an adult as it wasn’t very comfortable (but we got round that by putting our daughter to bed in the main bedroom and then moving her once asleep which worked perfectly). Everything was clean, and Rick was so welcoming. We only stayed a night but really recommend if you want a relaxing beautiful escape.

This place is incredible for a romantic get away. It’s incredibly stylish, well kitted out, private (the secluded garden is a really lovely touch), the bath is amazing - you can spend hours in there and comfortably accommodates 2. Without doubt the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in, and can’t wait to return. The hosts get the perfect balance between letting you know they can help - versus leaving you alone.
