We had such a lovely stay! The lodge was so cosy. When we arrived, as it started to get a little dark, with the porch light on waiting for us it looked so inviting, as was the free welcome treats. It was lovely waking up to watch the birds on the feeders in the mornings and winding down with the lamps and movie on in the evenings. Nice walks and towns a short drive away.

Tony and Aileen were wonderful hosts and their accommodation is very comfortable and private. Would highly recommend the Bull Pub in Bacton, close by, for a very warm welcome and superb menu.

All the facilities and amenities are to a very high standard. The bath is a luxurious experience, comfortable bed, super efficient heating and woodburner. A cosy winter retreat or a west facing sun oasis for couples or singletons to enjoy. A getaway from it all with super fast WiFi and a quality speaker. A well equipped kitchen. No TV as this is an intended retreat. Your choice to bring a device to stream watch. Neighbouring villages, towns Bury St Edmunds and Stowmarket to explore. Pubs within driving distance. A well stocked Co Op 11 mins drive away in Debenham through countryside lanes should you need provisions.

The Granary is a lovely place to stay and the interior is beautiful. Myself and my partner stayed for a weekend getaway and it was a nice place to relax and we went on a lovely public footpath and saw some horses and donkeys on our travels. Cooking and bathroom facilities were easy to use and the cake that Anne made us on our arrival was a lovely touch and tasted delicious! Myself and my partner would definitely stay again.
