A truly wonderful experience of being able to stay in a so called Idyllic "Reethaus", kind of region traditional if you ask me. The house and apartment within are wonderfully positioned in a peacefull street on the outskirts of village, having plain fields in sight. Plenty of country side roads and outdoor space to explore, right out of doorstep. Bakery and groceries are within walking distance or a short ride with car. Apartment itself is well equiped, even for an extended stay. It has enough storage drawers for clothes and personal belongings. Kitchen offers all a person could wish for. Bathroom is pleasantly decorated and feels fresh and new. Bedroom has a large and comfortable bed. Free outside parking is always available. From day one, hosts were amazing and communication was always on point. They were also kind enough to adapt to one day late arrival, due to my flight delays. Returning up North, with no hesitation at all, I would once more choose my stay with Julius and Svea.

The stay was very good. Alex always responded immediately and the AirBnB was clean. Not far from shopping and if you are traveling alone or in pairs, a good way to stay. I can only recommend it.

We already booked the old school in June as a stopover on the drive to Denmark. We liked the lovingly furnished, very clean apartment with its cozy atmosphere so much that we spontaneously decided to return for eight nights over the turn of the year. The location on the North Baltic Sea Canal offers ideal walking opportunities and the excursion destinations on the North Sea are within easy reach. Our dogs enjoyed the spacious, quiet environment as much as we did. Especially before New Year's Eve, it was pleasantly quiet in the region regarding fireworks – a treat for noise-sensitive animals. Although there were of course fireworks on New Year's Eve, the blast was manageable, in the house we hardly noticed anything about it. This home is perfect for dog owners who value comfort, relaxation, and a dog-friendly environment. Dear Steffi, dear Sven: You are great hosts with a wonderful place to stay that we can fully recommend!

We felt right at home. The view is beautiful and it is a very calm area but not far from excursion destinations. We were able to go for a walk with our dog. If we had any questions, it was answered very kindly and at short notice. The home is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. There was nothing missing. We were able to relax very well and forget the stress of everyday life. We will be back and thank you for everything.
