The accodation was excellent. Perfect location to explore the West Atlantic Way. The local area was beautiful, with the beach less than a 10 minute drive away. Great kitchen and bathroom facilities. Warm and cosy in the evening. Philomena was an excellent host, ensuring we were set up for a brilliant stay. The space offers privacy from the main house and is very accessible with a car. Would recommend to anyone looking for the perfect romantic getaway.

We had a lovely stay at Connie’s cottage. We were looking for somewhere quiet and peaceful, and we found it at Connie’s. Connie was quick to respond to our messages and proactively sent on lots of information which was very helpful. She also met us on arrival and saw us off on departure, but left us to enjoy the cottage during our short stay. We would fully recommend to couples looking to visit the area or just looking to take a relaxing break. We hope to visit again in the future.

If I could move in permanently I would. A beautiful home in a stunning location, this isn’t to be missed. Plenty of linens and extra pillows, enough bathrooms to make all the guests comfortable, open and spacious kitchen and dining area. We were sad to see our trip come to an end and are already planning our next visit! Ballyvaughan is not only beautiful, it is full of incredibly kind and warm people. Make sure you leave enough time to see the sights, but also visit the local establishments and get to know the community!

We highly recommend staying in this quaint countryside property. The views from this stay are even more amazing than the pictures show. Brid, Thomas, and Crystal were extremely helpful with giving recommendations to local stops and activities. It’s within driving distance of Dublín, the Cliffs of Moher, Kylemore Abbey, and the Ring of Kerry and only a 40-45 minute drive to Galway. There’s a beautiful coastal walking path directly behind the property that leads to a small beach and some epic views of the Galway Bay.
