This Was an ideal space for our group of freinds. Very tidy, clean and spacious. Great place for families to unwind. Very hospitable with pool and trampoline. Sitting on the sofa watching the sun go down is an absolute treat and relaxing! Ideal for us!

We had the absolute best time staying at Excelsior guest farm and made the most incredible memories as a group. The farm house has so much character, lots of chill spaces, big lounge and kitchen and a pool. There is so much to do on the farm itself from nearby walks to waterfalls, bouldering, a little lake to play and swim in, the coffee shop where you can buy a lot of the farms own produced goods and more! Rudi was an amazing host and always responded quickly to my questions pre and during our stay! We really felt so at home here and none of us wanted to leave.

One of the Best Airbnbs We've Stayed In! This place was incredible! We had two cozy huts in a completely remote setting, with a private little pool and even two bathtubs with hot water. The huts even had fresh goodies from the farm available to buy, which was a nice touch. The night sky was absolutely stunning - no light pollution, just endless stars and the Milky Way. In the mornings and evenings, we saw cute little animals nearby, which made it feel even more special. Even though it’s in nature, it has everything you need - hot water, a proper kitchen, and a good bathroom. It’s the perfect escape from city life. Highly recommend!

After spending time in some remote locations, Tarantula Guesthouse was the perfect soft landing. The house is incredibly spacious, kept wonderfully cool in the heat, and felt like a true home away from home. We loved the lovely braai area and the pool, which were a hit for both us and our kids. The property is very private from the other cottages, which made it even more relaxing. The full kitchen and access to all DSTV channels added to the convenience, allowing us to unwind completely. We enjoyed our stay so much that we even requested a late check-out because we didn’t want to leave! Hendrina was exceptionally kind, and communication was seamless from start to finish. We can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be back. Looking forward to staying here again!

We loved our stay as it was the perfect way to break our journey from the Orange River back to Cape Town. The house was perfect and the kids loved all the extras from being part of the Oukip Country lodge. We will come again and recommend to friends on route to Namibia or back

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the place was clean, comfortable and close to the beach where we enjoyed spectacular sunsets and the waves crashing on the rocks. Only one note able drawback was that there’s no WiFi, which would have been great to have. Thanks for opening your home.

We loved our stay in Elandsbaai. Freda and Theo are the most welcoming, friendly people you will ever meet. They made us feel like old friends, and helped wherever they could. Freda even surprised us with an amazing bread, that we completely demolished for breakfast 😁 The house is very spacious and the photos really do not do it justice. We were surprised at the amount of room there is in the house. Inside, you will find everything you need for a relaxing stay. Thank you Freda and Theo for your kindness and for making our holiday memorable! We will definitely visit again soon. PS. If you are a train lover like me you will LOVE the Sishen Saldanha Train that literally drives through your backyard. It added a lot of excitement to our stay.

Jodie was the best host you could ask for. Very response to all messages I sent him in a short time. The cottage was exactly as described. It was clean, tidy, and felt like a nice, safe, and peaceful place to stay. We stayed for just under a month and loved every moment of it.

Lovely place in Strandfontein with great sea views. Beautiful areas to relax in both inside and outside and beach house feel. Comfortable beds and clean linens. It was very hot when we went but we took fans with us so that helped bring the temperature down in the evening. Easy walk to the beach and kafee down the street.

Great location! The pictures are a small glimpse of what you can expect from the views. The hosts are very friendly and communicative. The house is fairly well stocked with kitchen utensils and crockery (if you'd like to do some cooking).

We had a lovely stay, Tuis Huis was a perfect base to view the beautiful spring flowers. It is a very clean, comfortable cottage, that is well located.

Absolutely amazing place! So peaceful and natural, a true gem. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking to escape the city and be in nature. The house itself is exactly as described, very rustic but comfortable. The only notes I have - indoor fireplace did not work properly, it completely smoked us out the house. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and spending Christmas here, and we’ll definitely be back in the future and recommend it to our friends!
