Charming and comfotable fisherman’s cottage with great waterfront location. We liked the large covered verandah area for wind protection. None of the houses in the row are fenced at the beachfront or rear , which is charming, so lucky our dog is not a wanderer. Katelyn was helpful.

I absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful beach house. It was a great place to recuperate after recent surgery and I spent my days sitting at the beach watching hubby fish , or on the back patio reading or watching time pass. The minute we walked in we felt right at home and immediately relaxed, everything was so clean and fresh . The house is 10 mins from Port Macdonnell, great place for pier and beach fishing, with vehicle access to sand. Can recommend the Local pub for meals, and we were quite impressed with the local laundromat which we used a couple of times itwas reasonably priced and helped conserve water at the beach house. So many other places to visit for daytrips and so many places to explore within Cape Douglas. Overall this has been my favourite destination and accommodation through AirBnb so far .

We had a beautiful 2 night stay in kookaburra cottage! The cottage is absolutely stunning, it had everything we needed, and the hosts are very easy to communicate with. We found that it was very kid friendly with a basket of toys, high chair, cot, and a fully fenced property. And their favourite part of the stay was feeding the Alpacas and sheep! How idyllic! This is by far the most beautiful air b&b I’ve ever stayed in and we can’t wait to return one day.

A gem of a cottage. Airy, bright and comfortable. Kitchen is fully tooled up. Great views across the countryside and relaxing watching the alpacas in the neighbouring field. Deb is a great host.
