This listing is for a twin room at Chester St Backpackers, our small, homely hostel in the central city. The two beds in the room are made up and have electric blankets. We are are a long term stay hostel, set up for backpackers who are stopping in Christchurch for a while to work and save for their next stage of travel and students studying nearby. We are just down the road from Ara. You will be part of a shared house overseen by Pipi the cat.

The Blue Queen Room is a large room with a view through a bay window on to a garden and trees. It has a queen bed and desk. It uses all the Farmhouse Villa facilities which may include the Swedish composting toilets for use during the daytime. The property is set beside a pristine forest stream with flower gardens and bbqs. It is a short 300 metres to a beautiful sandy beach. Free wifi with restrictions during heavy usage times.
