Great place to stay! Had many amenities and was such a large room. Definitely would stay there again

We had a good stay at The Alpine Chalets. Checkin and checkout were very easy. Stewart and Mary were very responsive and provided clear instructions. The place was very accessible to everything that you might need like bus stop, restaurants and dairy. The room is a bit dated, especially the toilet and shower, but overall it was functional, clean and tidy.

We had a beautifully relaxing and energising couple of days at Tira Ora. The hosts were super lovely, the place was full of rustic charm, animals and birds everywhere. The rooms were comfortable, home-cooked food was delicious, and the place so captivating, we were sorry to have to leave. Great for families, a real natural treat away from it all.

Superb place. 🤩 It would be excellent if there is a microwave inside the room and even some basic cutleries.

Perfect hostel base in National Park; the kitchen and living room was huge and fully stocked. We wish we could stay longer, but only had one night for hiking.

Lori’s place was clean, comfortable and presentable. The view was stunning and the pool/spa was enjoyable! The hosts thought of everything including things we didn’t know we needed. We could play music via Bluetooth, had 101 different cooking options, Netflix, coffee available and some of the most comfortable furniture. 5/5 churs, Would recommend.

Cathy was a wonderful host! She made sure we felt welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. She was friendly and attentive, always ready to help if we needed anything. It was a pleasure staying at her place, and we’d definitely recommend it to others!

We had a lovely stay at the Motel, rooms were comfy and cozy and everything was very clean. Great spot to stay before the glacier towns and Okarito!

This was a nice one night stay. I met Cathy and she is very nice. The place is very easy to find right off the road in town. A clean room where I slept well in the comfortable bed and a nice shower in the large sized shower. Only 30 minutes from the Alex Knob track at Franz Josef which is why I booked. I would recommend. Thank you.

Such a beautiful spot, better than the photos. Awesome walk right beside the accommodation and lovely view of the harbour. 10/10

Fabulous place to stay the night between Christchurch and Queenstown. Judy was so accommodating and the house was warm and comfy. Kids loved seeing the horses and playing with the beautiful dog. Highly recommended.

Ao Marama retreat was a wonderful serendipitous find. We stayed longer than expected and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and tranquil setting.

Staying at the Poolburn adventure hub for New Year’s with our family of five was an amazing experience! Mark and Matt were exceptional hosts and treated us like family. Mark cooked amazing meals, planned fun family outings for us, and let the kids feed the farm animals. I am so happy we stayed for three days to experience it all!

Lovely stay at Poolburn with Mark and the gang. Everyone was really friendly and we felt right at home. Mark is a fantastic cook! Great spot for exploring the area or just relaxing. You'll never get bored with resident dogs Bishop and Rook around. Will definitely be back for another stay!

Nice and quiet place for stopping by.

We only had an overnight stay, but the cottage was clean & spacious. The lodge & cottages are very old but have been very well stocked & all linens, carpets & curtains were updated & new, with a comfortable bed. It’s a great location to be on the lake. Super friendly staff that welcomed us & came with us to show us through the cottage.
