Monthly Rentals in Newington

Wonderful flat right at the base of the royal mile. Whether you’ve got just a few days or a few weeks, it was the perfect Homebase for us to explore the entire city. Smack in the middle of the beautiful old town.

Place was located perfectly to be just out the way of the busy city and a short bus journey to get right into the centre, great host really helpful with, information packs and easy check in and check out details. Was warm and toasty our whole stay and found it really cosy and homely.

We had an amazing time at Jonathan place! We booked for a week and he is the best host I ever had on airbnb, considering that I travelled 38 countries! He picked up from the station and gave us a ride in old town then showed us clear instructions for everything in the flat. My personal opinion is not to get fooled by old furniture, everything was functional and all the facilities included like nobody else. Unlike other host where I had to buy spices, coffe, shower gel, shampoo and toiletries or to beg for an extra towel, he has everything included. The apartment is huge and cosy and makes you feel like home. Especially the natural plants and the pictures on the walls which gives soul to the flat. The location is walking distance from all the popular area to visit in Edinburgh! The view is amazing to the holyrood hills.... To be honest I rather a cosy place like this than a luxury souless flat with no facilities where they charge extra for everything you ask.

Sandra was a very friendly host during my stay. The airbnb looked exactly as listed and Sandra made sure to come by after I checked in to make sure I was not having trouble with any of the appliances. The location is on a small residential street with easy bus access to the city centre. I would love to stay here again if I am back in Edinburgh!
