With Wye Valley as a scenic backdrop, sitting in the glass house, gazing at night sky and walk around River Severn, a drive to Forest of Dean, vacation couldn’t be more relaxing. With a welcoming home waiting after a day long outing each day was a treat we enjoyed. A place one would love coming back to again and again l! Anne was so prompt to respond throughout. I had a beautiful time at the Stables! It’s a getaway from the world at a working farm. I love animals, so I asked to meet some of them, and Yvonne took me to see (and pet!) the milking cows, and explained the entire process to me! The house had traditional charm but was has been updated everywhere that it counts. They have lists of local recommendations but I was happy to get groceries and use the excellent kitchen at the property. I did not have a car and was warned about difficulty getting around but as I was only interested in nature and peace and quiet, getting to and from on public transport was easy enough. Finally, Yvonne was always prompt responding to me and was very friendly and welcoming! I’d love to come back!

Lovely stay. We came to explore where mum grew up and what a lovely base underdean lodge was for that. We had some lovely walks right out the back door. Lovely and clean and all the facilities we could possibly need. Came with a toddler and was pleasantly surprised that it was so well equipped with baby gates and the foam floor mattress for her. Gave me peace of mind that she was safe. Thankyou

Highly recommend, lovely place nice and clean. Perfect for dogs, our little one loved it and Nikki provided everything you would need. Thank you again, can’t wait to come back!
