This place is actually beautiful really a home from home place. We stayed at Birch lodge which was so warm and welcoming. Your surrounded by the sounds of nature day and night, which is very peaceful and serene. The hot tub is an added touch, where you can gaze at the stars whilst the bubbles surround you. I really valued the privacy of each lodge, which backs onto a nice green area at the back. Ian was most accmodating, awnsering any questions we had, but they made sure they answered most questions through the instructions that was left for us. Thoughtful. Sad to be leaving but Upthorpe Lodges will deffo see us again, when we want to escape the hustle and bustle of London, and connect with nature.

We absolutely adored our stay. Blissfully peaceful, clean and had all that we could have asked for. We loved the visiting ducks and having duck food provided was fantastic! So much to do locally that there's something for everyone. But so cosy and inviting that I could have easily relaxed at the lodge all week with a book series! I cannot thank the hosts enough for how friendly and helpful they were/are. I cannot recommend this place enough! Book it! And have a wonderful holiday!

Absolutely magic! A fantastic space in the middle of a beautiful wooded area - it felt enchanted. Loved the jacuzzi, the walks nearby and the local beaches. Additionally the kitchen utensils were excellent (sharp knives, new kettle etc.) A helpful host and an all round superb experience.

Excellent host! Went above and beyond for me and my partner. Highly recommend booking a stay, very peaceful and clean environment with a pristine glamping pod. With a great a list of amenities!

We had an overnight stay here, and it was fantastic. The cabin was very cosy and clean. The hot tub was warmed up ready for us. All the staff on site were very friendly. The surroundings were so nice. We also ate in Hubbles, and it was lovely and really reasonable. We will definitely return.

We stayed at this beautiful lodge for a girls’ weekend to celebrate a 40th birthday, and it was absolutely stunning. The decor was stylish and welcoming, making it feel like a home away from home. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the peaceful location made it the perfect place to unwind. We all had an amazing time, and while there was no WiFi, it actually encouraged us to have more conversations and truly enjoy each other’s company—making the experience even more special. Overall, a fantastic stay, and we’d definitely recommend it!

We rented the cabin for nearly two months after relocating to the UK. We loved the cabin, and Bea and Steve were absolutely fantastic! They were very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The place was spotless and it had all the amenities for an extended stay. The yard was enclosed, so it was perfect for our dog. The local restaurant was a huge plus, and the community was very friendly and welcoming. We were very grateful to have found this cabin, and have met Bea and Steve. We totally recommend them!

We LOVED this place! Suzanne is such a considerate host providing all wonderful welcome basket as well as every provision you could need to feel at home. The beds were comfy, shower hot and powerful, tv with dvd player / DVDs & wifi (not on listing). Clean, fresh & modern and a lovely setting. We used the discounted rates at the Caldecott pool on-site and enjoyed exploring the area (easy access to Great Yarmouth & woodland walks). Would love to return and 100% recommend to all.

Thank you to Sofia hosting her place and being a great host. I decided to take our 2 young children and dog on a trip to Norfolk and they loved it. The chalet was just what we needed and as described. We wanted a place close to the beach for dog walks and for days out. The chalet is on a peaceful site which has well kept gardens. We managed to try out the Ship Inn a couple of times, food was good and also atmosphere. We didn't manage to test the village cafe unfortunately. Thank you again and hopefully we will be back.

Thank you for a lovely stay. Accommodation was lovely and clean. Hot tub was nice and hot on a cold evening! Host was very responsive and met us on arrival to show us the accommodation.

It wasn’t the easiest to find. Too k a couple of attempts. Especially because it was dark.

We had a fantastic stay at Sherwood Farm, it’s even better than the description and pictures. Lovely space with lots of room for a family of 4. Toys and books the kids loved and the garden/ field was huge and they adored it! Had a great takeaway from the Naz in Soham and took the kids to several local national trust properties and Bens yard which has a great coffee shop and adventure play ground. Lovely to have tea and coffee provided in the house. Rooms clean and beds comfy. Huge oven and great facilities to cook. Will definitely do a bbq next time. Cam to Ely to visit family but it felt like a holiday because of this place. Thank you! We will be back.

Our stay was perfect, easy access, clean spaces and all the facilities we needed. Claire if a perfect host, she was very responsive and went the extra mile to make sure our stay was perfect. We left some items behind in a rush to get out and these were very kindly sent back to us.

Lovely space, attention to detail was great. A wonderful welcome pack, even for our little dog Chip. Bedding, towels immaculate. Easy walking distance to amenities a little further for beach but well worth it. Loving the outside decking & patio too. We hope to book again for next year/ Great Host !

This was the second time me and my family have stayed at Lisa’s place with our dog and we loved it. Thank you so much for having us back we throughly enjoyed our stay and will be back i am sure ! X

Had a great stay, everything we needed for an end of January break away. The place was warm, the sun was out and we were certainly never cold indoors despite it being chilly outside. I got busy in the kitchen every night which had everything you need to cook and had the luxury of ordering an Indian takeout which just featured in the curry guide from The Lowestoft Tandoori. Beautiful beach to go for a Walkabout on and the local pub does a fantastic roast and entertainment on a Saturday. Wanted to stay longer, thank you ever so much Sally for being a great host. Had a fantastic time.

First time away for about 10 month , wanted somewhere to get way from it all , sarah's lodge fitted tbe bill exactly. Lovely lodge , lots of wild life to look at . Good place for fishing Lots of local places to visit . Sarah fantastic host and very helpfull

Lovely little cabin, well furnished and great that it was west facing too as it was lovely to sit out the front and enjoy the evening sunshine! The welcome snacks and milk in the fridge were a nice touch and communication from Sarah was excellent throughout our stay. We enjoyed some lovely long walks around the nearby RSPB and NWT sites and the cabin was well located to stroll down to the beach front to enjoy the beautiful sunsets.

Stayed with our two young children. A lovely little place with generous hosts who had stocked up on some goodies for our arrival. They live on the site further up the drive and were very responsive when I had a query about the cooker which turned out to be my ineptitude more than anything else. Really lovely setting, great for children (I’d recommend bringing bikes) and walking around. Our two appreciated the climbing frame on site. There’s no central heating but the electric radiators placed around made up for it. The TV also was kitted out with loads of functioning apps. I imagine it would be wonderful there in the summer.

We recently stayed over Christmas to visit family and we had a great time - even a Christmas Tree - thanks Cheryl and Stuart - much appreciated. Everything was as we expected from the photos. The communication with Cheryl and Stuart was really good and a key safe to let ourselves in was easy. The place is spotless, modern and quiet. The beds are really comfortable. Despite the cold outside it was warm inside - a thermostat allows you to change the temperature if you need to. We would highly recommend this Airbnb - close to many places in Norfolk and the coast. Would definitely return when next in Norfolk.

Warm and comfortable the lodge had a fully equipped kitchen with milk bread and eggs in the fridge which we couldn’t have been more thankful for. We had a very comfortable stay Thankyou

The Hideaway was perfect for my needs. Spotlessly clean, comfortable, quiet, warm and cosy, despite the relentlessly heavy rain! Very safe and secure location. Check-in and communication was excellent. Anthony and Lynn were warm and welcoming hosts and the breakfast provisions were a lovely touch. As a regular visitor to the area, would not hesitate to book again. Thank you!
