We had a beautiful stay here 😊 lovely, peaceful surroundings and just what we wanted for a last minute getaway. The hut was slightly difficult to find in the dark but what a stunning place it is! Would definitely recommend this place to all 😁

A wonderful glamping/country farm site. We stayed in the Norfolk shepherds hut and it was perfect - spotlessly clean with all the amenities you could want. A well thought-out brochure to download onto your phone with all the information you could need for your stay. Complimentary fresh free range eggs! Just perfect.

A great place to stay- it's a beautifully renovated yet wonderfully original wagon, that's comfortable and well appointed for any retreat. We really enjoyed the garden space to be amongst the fruits and vegetables and Bertie the horse! Wish we could've stayed longer! Overall just the tranquility we wanted. Thanks to Julia for being great and accommodating host.

"Wow" what a find! Such a beautiful place and so peaceful. The Shepherds hut was even better than it looked ,in the pictures and very spacious considering. It was spotless inside and had everything you needed. I loved that we arrived to homemade cakes and goodies in the fridge. My son loved the animals and we were very lucky to meet Bob who kindly told my son about the animals and let him help feed some of them. Bob and Helen are excellent hosts, they go above and beyond from start to finish and nothing is to much trouble. We shall be back.

I loved the peace of the woods. Although the toilets and showers were away from the hut, there was a block assigned to each hut, so you had your own services while there. Hunstanton is only 25 25-minute drive away and the Sandringham estate is only a matter of miles. It was like camping again but with a lovely warm and comfortable shepherds hut instead of a tent :) Will return!

A quaint and quiet location, easy to drive to and very enjoyable to stay in. Perfect for a getaway for relaxation. The only downside is that the local restaurants aren't really walkable but other than that, the owls rest was a perfect retreat from work that was very needed.

Had a really nice time staying here for a few days with my girlfriend. Histon has some nice pubs and has good transport links to Cambridge if you don’t have a car

Katie and Matt’s place is absolutely wonderful if you’re looking for a tranquil spot to get a bit of peace and quiet. The setting is beautiful, great for walking, and Katie and Matt have created a great space with everything you’ll need. I had a great stay, communication was easy as was access. Thoroughly recommended and I’ll hope to stay again soon.

This was the third time we stayed at Brushwood Nook and as before we felt right at home straight away. It’s a gorgeous gem of a place in the middle of a beautiful field in Norfolk but with all mod cons. A delightful little tardis that miraculously manages to comfortably fit all four of us. It’s become our annual winter mini-retreat to beat the January Blues with Norfolk blue skies and vitamin sea. Natasha and Sean are lovely hosts who are very attentive and yet considerate. PS: This time we also discovered Bread of Haven in Ridlington and pre-ordered two delicious freshly baked loaves of bread for Saturday morning - that was breakfast sorted for both days. Highly recommend!

Me and my boyfriend went for his birthday and the stay was awesome ! Lovely place , quiet and really friendly people . Lovely walk route close by and the atmosphere was incredible Will be staying again sometime soon Thank you Sam !

Fantastic cabin in a beautiful location, proper luxury but so close to nature, waking up to the frozen lake in anticipation of a sauna was amazing! Sarah and Will were great hosts and so helpful with check in and ideas about the local area, many thanks!

Gorgeous little place, super cosy with some lovely little touches like local tea and coffee. Didn’t get a chance to use the outdoor bath but the stars were amazing so this would be wonderful at night. Ben was very quick to respond when another place hadn’t got back to be on a reservation request, and ended up cancelling the other and coming here instead. Glad we did :)

We had a beautiful stay at Helens place. The hut was exactly as described if not better. The need was the comfiest bed I've ever slept in and I'm a very fussy sleeper. Helen was on hand for anything we needed, was so attentive but only when we requested so our privacy was respected but Helen has truly thought of everything! I can't recommend enough

I arrived at Diane's after a cold, wet 100km on my bike. ...and Wow! lovely accommodation. beautiful spot. Brill shower (important if you've just spent 5 hours pedalling)

Alison was so lovely! Popped over in the evening to make sure my check in was okay and did a pottery class with her in the morning which was so much fun! I’m excited to receive my pit in the coming weeks! Alison was hugely response and their dog Dylan was soooo friendly! It’s the perfect spot of you want some time away from the hustle and bustle! 🤍

A gorgeous secluded getaway. Brilliant communication from Toni on access and recommendations. The hut was in Impeccable condition and so cozy. Will be very hard to resist coming back.

What a lovely couple of days we spent in 'Whinnie!!'. The place was just as described and had everything we needed for two nights. Our young daughter loved it!! It was lovely and warm and was also easy to check in and had a bonus private outside area. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We are hoping to come back again this year at some point. Would highly recommend the pub, it was lovely and cosy and the food was wonderful. The pies are amazing!! Barry the landlord was lovely and his staff were too. Bathroom facilites in the pub were very good, great shower and very clean.

It is a wonderful place that everyone deserves to visit. Grass, flowers, birds… it’s a place you can truly relax yourself and find some peace. Although the indoor space is a bit small, the decoration is really detailed and beautiful. You can visit this hut without a car, as it is very close to the train station. It was really joyful to have a private barbecue in the courtyard, we will definitely visit the hut again.

Booked just the day before arrival for an impromptu treat for myself and daughter and 3 lurchers. Amanda is so very welcoming of people and dogs ( 3 treats left out for the dogs in addition to a whole treat jar, dog towels and blankets) . The hut and outdoor space ( privately fenced to seperate you from sheep and horse) are just beautifully organised and decorated with everything you could possibly need , just bring your dog beds and bowls. Stayed in early April and we braved a BBQ made possible with the gas fire pit. The hut was so cosy we sadly didn't feel the need to light the hobbit log burner nor use the luxurious dressing gowns provided. The bed was comfortable and very warm despite awaking to a frost this morning. Everything you could wish for is provided including a wonderful welcome hamper ( loved the hot chocolate and fresh eggs). The space may be compact but is perfect. Also enjoyed trip to Holkham Beach, Brancaster and Hunstanton. Amanda warm, welcoming and helpful.
