Jordan was a fabulous host his communication from start to finish was so friendly and prompt and the flat was exactly as described , beautifully presented and immaculate . The views over the Tyne are lovely and it is about a 30 minute walk along to the great bars and restaurants along the quayside so you are away from the bustle in a quiet residential area . We were there for the unforgettable Caraboa Cup celebrations and could easily walk up into town , one of my highlights was a run along the quayside seeing the iconic landmarks in the early morning . Thank you Jordan for the thoughtful goodies on arrival ! Highly recommend this stylish and comfortable property and we hope to make a return visit .

Fantastic location for exploring the Northumberland coast and in easy walking distance of restaurants and amenities. The view from the apartment was amazing. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. I can't fault it.

Lovely compact flat, right in the heart of Berwick. Close to shops, pubs, restaurants, beach, castle and a 5min walk across the bridge to Tweedmouth. Host was proactive with instructions and helpful when needed. Thank you 😊

I booked this place for my parents and they enjoyed every minute of their stay at Michelle’s place, wishing they could extend their stay even longer. The apartment is identical to the photos. Michelle maintained contact throughout the stay and was always responsive, if needed. A beautiful home and a beautiful view, with an attentive host. Everything is close by, walking distance or venturing out in the car. All in all a very peaceful and easy stay, which is what everyone is looking for. Thanks again Michelle!

This four bedroomed house was in a brilliant location and very close to the beaches, pubs and town centre. The house was over three floors which helped with spacing out the two families. There was a double bedroom on the lower floor, a double with en-suite on the first floor and then a further two king bedrooms on the second floor. There is only one parking space but we found alternative parking for the second car on the cobbled street outside. The house has plenty of space and well equipped with crockery and utensils. The bedding and towels were all clean. The WiFi wasn’t great especially with no phone signal. All in all though a Lovely home in a great location.

We had a wonderful stay in Gary's house. It is a quiet, peaceful neighborhood with just a few minutes by foot to reach the sea. The modern interior of the house has all the comfort you need and Gary went above and beyond to make it childproof and adjust to our needs. We would come back any time. Thank you :-)

Nice big house with lovely view of the sea. Great location for access to the beach and can also walk to neighbouring Seahouses.

We had a relaxing stay at Pebbles. Situated in a very picturesque park overlooking the sea and the wind turbines which I felt were quite mesmerising! The park itself has everything you need from entertainment, pool and restaurants. The beach was fabulous and we thoroughly enjoyed the rock pools and scenery. Lots to do in the area especially if you like castles and history. We would recommend a stay at Pebbles.

Stylish, spacious, very comfortable house in quiet setting with peaceful Marina views. Bright and light because of the big windows at the back. Exactly what it says ‘on the tin’. Had a relaxing 2 nights here and plan to come again when visiting family in Newcastle.

Wow!!!! What a house!! The location right on the beach is simply beautiful. The house was immaculate and the smell on arrival was gorgeous! Everything was perfect for us to celebrate a special birthday and Tracey checked in with us to ensure we had all we needed. Took us about 15 mins to walk into Amble where there are lots of places to eat. We absolutely loved this place and can’t wait to return!! Thank you so much!!!

it was a nice stay for my family, very nice surrounding, easy to reach the city center. parking is easy, the café next door it's amazing as well. house is Sparkling clean I have no worry for my toddler run around and crawl around. highly recommend

A wonderful quiet stay in a delightful flat on the second floor with wide stairs. Comfortable with everything provided with tasteful decor. Easy to find the keys with excellent access when parking the car. View was lovely and a great location for the beach and local amenities. Would definitely visit again. Thank you Robert

We loved the apartment it's modern and had everything we wanted and more. The views over the harbour are beautiful and it was easy walking distance to the green when we needed to walk our dog. Definitely recommend we would book again.

We decided spontaneously to have weekend away and Dexter was really accommodating as we literally booked it, threw things in the car and left. He went above and beyond to make sure the house was ready for us and even changed his own plans to do this. The house was perfect for us and our dogs. It was literally a stones throw to the beach (you could even see it from the main bedroom window) We had a wonderful, restful weekend and the dogs are tired out from beach fun and lovely walks. Thank you so much :)

Nick was a great host, very friendly, helpful and quick with responses. He recommended some places close by for food, which meant we got to try the cafe at the marina which was super cute. The apartment itself was spotless, very modern and lovely setting with the balcony. It suited our friend group perfectly for the weekend and I would also stay again with my family.

We first stayed at Elaine’s in October and it was as perfect and our second visit the same. I highly recommend this accommodation, it has everything you could possibly need. Beautiful well equipped kitchen, lounge area cosy and comfortable, outside seating area is very private and we were able to sit out this time. Beds are very comfortable with lovely sheets etc. and the bathroom has separate bath and an excellent shower. Location is perfect and Warkworth beach is very clean and dog friendly. Another perfect stay , will definitely be booking again.

Karen is good to deal with, communications were excellent, and she picked us up from the train station which was handy. The flat is great, more spacious and more natural light than I had expected. Location is good, 2 minutes walk from the Baltic, close to the Glasshouse (both of which are worth a visit) and the Millenium Bridge across to the Quayside at Newcastle. There's a bus stop right outside the apartment block, and the Metro is only quarter of an hour away near the very large Tesco. Restaurants - Lui's was excellent; Babucho very good, as was Ravel Indian; Pitcher and Piano has great views by the Tyne, but was very noisy Friday and Saturday nights. The Hooch was a great place for a drink with nice music; Station East was very quirky. We went to Laing art gallery (good cafe too) which was very good, and the Cathedral. If you're adventurous, a 45 minute walk to Saltwell Park (buses are available) was worthwhile as the weather was great.

Mark is an excellent host, kind and accommodating. He made sure I was comfortable (warm, in particular) in my bedroom and around the rest of the flat, which was kept in very clean conditions. And Mark was so gracious as to provide a personalized list of places to visit in and around Newcastle. The room is not large -just like in the photos- but it provided me with enough space and furniture to organize my clothes. The coffee machine in the room is a great plus, as is the TV set. I was able to cook at large without any interference whatsoever from Mark. And the access to the patio, overlooking the Tyne river, was a very relaxing experience despite the weather being a bit cold at the time. All in all, I had a great seven-day stay at Mark’s Airbnb and I would definitely book it again if/when I am back in Newcastle! Thank you, Mark, for everything!
