This place is actually beautiful really a home from home place. We stayed at Birch lodge which was so warm and welcoming. Your surrounded by the sounds of nature day and night, which is very peaceful and serene. The hot tub is an added touch, where you can gaze at the stars whilst the bubbles surround you. I really valued the privacy of each lodge, which backs onto a nice green area at the back. Ian was most accmodating, awnsering any questions we had, but they made sure they answered most questions through the instructions that was left for us. Thoughtful. Sad to be leaving but Upthorpe Lodges will deffo see us again, when we want to escape the hustle and bustle of London, and connect with nature.

Fab host and place to stay and we will definitely go back again and recommend to anyone looking for a natural clamping style get away to recharge and relax.

A lovely break with family, cosy cabin, quiet location and Roy was so helpful in getting the hot tub started for us, which we really appreciated. Thank you :)

We absolutely adored our stay. Blissfully peaceful, clean and had all that we could have asked for. We loved the visiting ducks and having duck food provided was fantastic! So much to do locally that there's something for everyone. But so cosy and inviting that I could have easily relaxed at the lodge all week with a book series! I cannot thank the hosts enough for how friendly and helpful they were/are. I cannot recommend this place enough! Book it! And have a wonderful holiday!

We stayed at this beautiful lodge for a girls’ weekend to celebrate a 40th birthday, and it was absolutely stunning. The decor was stylish and welcoming, making it feel like a home away from home. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the peaceful location made it the perfect place to unwind. We all had an amazing time, and while there was no WiFi, it actually encouraged us to have more conversations and truly enjoy each other’s company—making the experience even more special. Overall, a fantastic stay, and we’d definitely recommend it!

A great location. A smart brand new cabin. Well furnished set in the grounds of the Sea Marge hotel. Restaurant can be booked and cabin guests can order from the restaurant and have it delivered to their cabin or the hotel will take deliveries from some takeaway outlets. Hot tub was wonderful and the beach walks are to die for. We will definitely be back.

Honestly, we were really taken aback with what we had for what we paid - my double room was lovely - really spacious and the bed was really comfortable. We were only there for a couple of days so I didn't use the ample storage in there. There was an en suite bathroom there - with a bath! Lush. Toilets had sashes on to say they'd been anti-bacterialised. The smaller bedroom (with 2 single beds) had enough room - we only used one bed, but we put the dog's crate on the other - owner and dog slept fine in there. But the real treat was the bread, biscuits, jam, butter and milk that was there when we got there. That was such a lovely touch. In fact, because we weren't there long, we didn't buy supplies - coffee and various teas were also supplied. There were ice pops in the freezer too! Thank you Suzanne, for that. The boiler was easy to work - for those of us from the South West, that's really important - because it's much warmer here. Brilliant - thank you! We intend to come back.

A perfectly placed cabin to explore the stunning Norfolk coastlines, pub nearby is lovely and welcoming, would recommend and will hopefully be back soon.

Perfect place for myself and my 2 children for the night, whilst visiting BeWILDerwood and ROARR. Lovely quiet location, easy to find, with a pub up the road. Clear instructions and lots of information on website and in the lodge. The hosts were very kind and considerate and left Easter eggs for my little ones. The place was nicely decorated/furnished and had everything we needed. The hot tub was brilliant for us after a long day; we would have enjoyed the pool had we have visited in the summer. Would definitely recommend, thank you!

Our stay was perfect, easy access, clean spaces and all the facilities we needed. Claire if a perfect host, she was very responsive and went the extra mile to make sure our stay was perfect. We left some items behind in a rush to get out and these were very kindly sent back to us.

Lovely space, attention to detail was great. A wonderful welcome pack, even for our little dog Chip. Bedding, towels immaculate. Easy walking distance to amenities a little further for beach but well worth it. Loving the outside decking & patio too. We hope to book again for next year/ Great Host !

We had a great stay at The Cabin. Very cosy inside and good to have a bit of private outside space. Might not be to everyone's taste if you're looking for the quaint seaside fisherman's cottage experience (of which there are plenty) but this suited us perfectly and we really appreciated it being dog friendly. Great location for walking to the beach, pubs, Sheringham town, the museum and arts centre all right on the doorstep. It was our first trip to north Norfolk and we'll be back. Really loved the area and The Cabin was a perfect base from which to explore.

We had a lovely stay with the dog! Particularly enjoyed the paddock behind and saying morning to the neighbouring horses. Views amazing from the cabin and plenty of nearby walks. We strolled into the village and visited a local tea room for lunch and spotted 3 deers on route on the old railway walk. Bed was comfortable and all amenities to hand! Hope to stay again!

We spent 2 cosy nights in the Stable while exploring Suffolk. Chris and Sally are super lovely and made us feel very at home, being flexible with check in/out and sharing their local knowledge. The stable has everything you need and is very well positioned for walks/the beach/ venturing into Southwold. thanks for having us!

A lovely place to stay, big, beautiful and with two massive south facing doors. We had a lovely time. The property was very modern and had everything we needed. Highly recommended!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our break here. It was just the restful and relaxing retreat we needed. Very comfortable accommodation in a beautiful location. We found some very pleasant walking routes from the accommodation. Wonderful to use the log burner and stay cosy in such cold weather. Our greyhound loved her stay too & The pool was fantastic!! Very happy, will visit again ☺️

A lovely stay at Elizabeth's mobile home. My mother and I spent a restful, peaceful and pleasant Christmas here. There's plenty of room and privacy, all the rooms are nicely set out with all amenities required. Elizabeth was a lovely host, very responsive and everything was exactly as described - beautiful surroundings and quiet.

Fantastic little place. Had everything we needed and more. Well equipped!! Lovely peaceful location. Convenient to town for shopping, pizza etc.

We LOVED our stay at the Bothy. Tim met us almost immediately at the check in point and was warm and hospitable. The bothy is a lovely space with a very comfy bed and a wonderful log burner, with plenty of wood supplied for our stay. The site itself was perfect for us; quirky and functional with a pizza oven. Good host, very responsive to messages and allowed wiggle room with checking in earlier and checking out later which was super helpful with two little ones! The shally was clean with the exception of a few things not hoovered up under the sofa that my 1 year old pulled out and the bubbling pipes under the sink when you use the hot water. The bathroom was quite overpowered with the smell of bathroom cleaner when we came in, quite vinegary, but at least we know it was cleaned and once the windows were opened for a bit it was fine. Over all, it is in a lovely location and a lovely host, would recommend to anyone wanting to get away for a few days but not sure it’s worth quite as much baring in mind the shally itself is quite small and could use a little update. Thanks for the stay Julie, thoroughly enjoyed by us all.
