Elisabeth’s place is a great haven in Kiserian. The place is calm, quiet and incredibly peaceful. The house feels like home with everything in place; from the comfortable living room, the cosy bedrooms, the well-equipped kitchen and best of all, the natural surrounding full of diverse trees, flowers and birds for the nature lovers. The privacy accorded to the guests is also something we appreciated during our stay. This is a place I would go back to at the next available convenient time.

Yo! Mattias is an all time super host, with timely responses, regular check ups to ensure we had everything we needed, helpful tips on navigating the area, clear detailed instructions and a ton of resources that ensured our stay was as comfortable as possible. The place was private and secure, with breathtaking views. Shoutout to Joe as well for his prompt response and always being there when we needed anything. The stay at the penthouse is surely this year’s highlight for me and my family and will definitely be booking it on the next vacation. Thank you Mattias and Joe!!

I had a lovely ten day stay in room B4 at Firefinch Gardens. Deborah herself was not there, but was always contactable and responsive. Her capable staff Thomas and Leonida looked after me very well. I was even able to do some laundry, for a small fee. And I was kindly allowed to leave some luggage there whilst I did a safari. The plot is very peaceful and quiet, even at night. Many places around Nairobi are plagued by dogs barking at night, which is not the case here. The room was very comfortable and well-equipped with all amenities. Firefinch Gardens is a ten to fifteen minute Uber or Bolt ride away from bustling Karen, with lots of shops, bars, restaurants and cafés. It is also well-located for visiting local attractions such as the Giraffe Centre and the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust elephant orphanage. Highly recommended as a value for money place to stay in Karen.
