Chrysanthi’s Andros House was wonderful. Although very small, it has everything you need for your stay.. The staircase to the bedroom looks tricky but handles in the right place make the ascent easy and you find the right technique very quickly. The bed was also very comfortable. The location is perfect: away from the centre of activity to avoid the noise and close enough that you still feel in the thick of it. Very close to one of the town’s beaches. I highly recommend it to the solo traveller or the couple who travels with little luggage. Chrysanthi was easily contactable to help with any issue.

Lia's home was just like its description. The owner's personal taste was imprinted everywhere. It was very thoughtful, spotless, tidy, and provided everything needed for a short stay. Its location is amazing, you can enjoy your coffee on the balcony both in the morning and afternoon and in a very short distance to enjoy your swim on the beach of Ormos or enjoy the food in the many taverns.

I spent 9 magical days staying with George & Desponia in their beautiful summerhouse. They are both such kind and thoughtful people, I felt at home straight away. The house has everything you need and even in the winter with a big storm I was very cosy. Andros has many beautiful walking trails. Three can be reached by foot from the summerhouse. I loved ormos korthiou. Such friendly local people. A brilliant market filled with local produce, an outstanding family run patisserie and a yummy bakery. And the beach is very close by, for morning swims :) I couldn’t recommend this place enough and I would love to return one day.
