Gurunathan always responds quickly to messages. His parents Lekshman and Lekshmi are sweet and kind, and they prepared typical Indian dishes for us upon request at a cheap price. Ramar, Lekshman's brother, was our trusted choffeur and has always helped us organize our days and was very comfortable getting around with him. They made us feel special, they treated us well, and we always felt safe. The house is located near the forest and has a breathtaking view of the tea plantations. You stay cool and hear the sound of nature. It's called Green Paradise and for us it was a corner of paradise in the green nature. Perfect for getting away from the chaos of cities, for mountain trekking, and visits to Munnar's botanical gardens. It's only 10 minutes from the city of Munnar, you can get around comfortably and economically in TukTuk with Ramar. Thank you so much for welcoming us so kindly and politely. Evan’s place was comfortable, clean, and beautiful. Evan was courteous, polite and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The surroundings of the villa are calm and tranquil with fantastic views. The swing in front the house was a great way to relax, rejuvenate and enjoy the view. Would strongly recommend staying at this villa to others!

We rented Camellia White Gables Cottage for one night while on a quick getaway to Munnar with my husband, his parents, and our driver. There are truly not adequate words to describe how wonderful this Airbnb is, how beautiful the area is, and how friendly & great Mr. Maria was to us. The view from the front porch was breathtaking - you are literally looking at a gorgeous tea plantation & are so close to Munnar. Bison Valley Road (the road you can take into Munnar that the Airbnb is on) is also stunning and well maintained. I’m American & my husband hasn’t lived in India in a long time, so we hired a driver to drive us. But he commented on how well maintained the area is & how easy it was to navigate in and out of the Airbnb and town. Mr Maria made our stay even better - we opted for breakfast & had the best chai on our entire trip. He was kind, polite, & knew what we needed before we did. Book this place. You won’t be disappointed. We will be back!
