A peaceful, clean, and spacious place to stay. It is perfect for exploring Dartmoor and it’s a lovely space which feels private enough for your own trip but Sam is responsive and helpful. We were very pleased with the facilities, cleanliness, and location. Would definitely recommend.

Spend an enjoyable 4 nights at Rebecca and Chris’s house in Mary Tavy with my adult family and dog. The house is really well equipped, has great facilities and is a great renovation of a old house. Whilst on the main road, inside the house the road is barely noticeable. Managed to find a good morning dog walk down the track, through the woods and and on to a recreation area. You can continue from the recreation ground on to the Mary Tavy Inn, all away from the road. We were there for a balloon flight for me , but the flight was cancelled due to the weather conditions , so may have to book the house again when I have a new flight date, which I wouldn’t hesitate to do.

Jo and Graham are great hosts. My dog and I felt welcome immediately. Very good amenities and beautiful surroundings. They went above and beyond for me.

My partner and I stayed for the weekend and had a fantastic time. The location was perfect — with great access to the moors, local pubs, and central shops. The place itself was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and clearly cared for with great attention to detail. Everything was well-organized, and we especially loved the outdoor area — perfect for enjoying dinner and a drink. The hosts were wonderful: very responsive and helpful, especially when we thought we’d lost our keys and needed a spare. We’d definitely recommend this place and would love to visit again.
