An authentic and cozy farmhouse. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Reply immediately. The place is clean and equipped. Note that the bedrooms are not separate and the entrance to one is through the other. Highly recommend the place. Everything is quiet, very nice and welcoming.

Our time in this apartment was simply fantastic! The apartment was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location was ideal – quiet yet central on a beautiful canal. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They welcomed us warmly upon arrival and gave us many useful tips for our stay. It was obvious that they attach great importance to making their guests feel comfortable. We highly recommend this place and would come back any time. Thank you for everything!

We really enjoyed our stay at Herkes cabin . It is set on a little nursery/mini farm/camping in the countryside. It had lovely views over open country side. It was very clean and comfortable and had a heated floor and a log burner so we were very cosy. The bed was a good size with a comfortable mattress. It is up steep steps and the bathroom is on the ground floor so would not suit someone with mobility problems. We had our dog with us and there was plenty of places to walk last thing at night and in the morning. We visited the beautiful harbour town of Harlingen and took a ferry ride to Terschelling island . If you want a very quiet place to relax in the beautiful Dutch countryside then this is perfect.
