Holiday rentals in Portpatrick

This was our third stay at the Sheep Shacks and it did not disappoint. Heather and John always provide a warm welcome and are genuinely lovely people. We know the area well and always find lots to do. We always leave wishing that we could have stayed for longer. The pod was immaculate and warm, the hot tub was ready and waiting and the views, as always, were stunning. A perfect, peaceful retreat. Highly recommend.

What a wonderful, relaxing week in the most perfect cottage. Location was perfect for walks straight from the house as well as local restaurants. The cottage was so beautifully decorated with absolute everything we could possibly need. The sun lounge and walled garden was an extra bonus. We will definitely be back.

This house is just amazing ! Much bigger than it looks in the pictures, we were 4 adults and one infant, plenty of room for a travel cot ! Cathy's house is spotless, there is everything you need for your stay We loved the wee room with the window seat and viewing chairs, there are also binoculars, could sit there all day, the views are lovely, we were lucky enough to see an amazing sunset The garden is big and enclosed with a seating area and barbeque Communication with Cathy was great We will defiantly be back !

This a beautiful cottage in a stunning location. We were unfortunate to arrive during Storm Darragh and there was a power line down meaning we had no electricity for the majority of our stay. However, Fiona and her family could not have been more kind and accommodating, providing us with plenty of logs for the log burner, which kept us lovely and warm, we were able to heat water and food on top of it and were brought a cooked breakfast on the Sunday. We found the whole experience wonderful. It’s a gorgeous place with amazing sunrises over the loch. I can’t wait to book in again.

The Boat House was really well-laid out, really clean, comfy and had pretyy much everything you'd want for a stay. Communication was great and we arrived just after sunset and all the lights were on for us and was lovely and warm...a perfect welcome. The welcome basket was incredibly nice and was a wonderful touch. Views across the bay were awesome and the beach was great to explore. All in all an excellent place to stay and probably the best airbnb we've stayed in so far and only regret was that wish we could've stayed for longer Thanks Jules and Tony
