⭐Stunning⭐ Cottage with Hot Tub

HollieRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We had a lovely stay with our 3 dogs at heron view, we enjoyed the spacious living area and comfortable beds. The utility space was a great nook for the dogs if they were wet from walking. Lovely local pub (the Masonic) with friendly people and bar staff. The hot tub was a massive bonus! Thanks Donald We will be back!

Maberry cottage, a rural riverside escape.

CeliaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Lovely place. Accurate pictures, though when you get there it feels even nicer than photos can show. Very friendly and responsive. Sometimes it can be quite a vulnerable experience travelling as an LGBTQIA+ couple, but here we felt welcome and safe. Hope to visit again with friends and family.

Sparrowhawk Cottage with Hot Tub

SharonRating, 5 stars24 months ago
The Conifers is a wonderful, peaceful place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring Dumfries and Galloway and coming back to such a wonderful relaxing spot each day. The hot tub water was checked daily and chemicals added if required which really impressed me. The lodges and cabins have plenty of room between them so you can be assured of privacy. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here and we will be back.

House with private hot tub and views of west coast

MelanieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We absolutely loved our stay here, the hot tub made it even better. Place was immaculately clean, no faults what so ever. Basic kitchen equipment which is all you need for a few days away. Plenty of restaurants, take aways and shop within the area if you’re driving so was able to have the option there if we fancied. Access was easy and it was easy to find, we both liked how it wasn’t on a public road etc and it was so peaceful at night. We were lucky to be able to see a sunset on our first night and that was fantastic, being able to be in the hot tub and have those views was just unreal. Even on our second night the weather wasn’t the best we still loved every minute of it. We cannot recommend this enough, we will definitely be back! Thank you both again

Fabulous Coastal Paths & Woodland Walks

GrahamRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Delightful cottage - very comfortable and cosy with everything we could need provided. Kate and Angus were very welcoming and friendly. We particularly appreciated the invitation to roam anywhere on the estate and the welcome extended to our little dog. The snowdrops were especially beautiful at this time of the year. Lady Bay on the estate was a great place to walk the dog at low tide. The welcome pack provided by Kate was also well received and there were plenty of basic supplies provided - tea, coffee, milk, bread, butter, brownies and shortbread! Thanks for a great vacation.

Apple Cottage

GeraldineRating, 5 stars6 months ago
The house is very comfortable and relaxing. There is plenty of space for everyone and it is attractively decorated and well equipped. The garden is absolutely stunning, one of the most beautiful cottage gardens I have ever seen. Ken and Gail were friendly and very helpful. A delightful stay. We have been coming to the area for many years and Apple Cottage is the best accommodation we have had. We will be back.

Doonbank Cottage Bothy

EmmaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Doonbank Bothy was lovely. Very peaceful surroundings and the river and woodland were beautiful. Chris was super helpful and responsive and we found the place very easily. His scones were warm when we arrived and lovely with a cup of tea after a long journey. We thought the added touch of his honey and Scottish tablet a nice thing to take home with us. Also to note the bed was very comfy like many of the other reviews have said. Thanks Chris. 👍🏻😊

Cozy 2 bed cottage with log burner close to Loch

EmmaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
From the moment we arrived we felt at home, the milk and eggs were a loving touch but the millionaire shortbread blew us away! The cottage was spotless and had some lovely features. The children adored the log burner and the goats and sheep out the back. We felt comfy, cosy and the cottage was highly maintained. We all had a great nights sleep, thanks for a fab stay…we would return in a heartbeat.

Ocean view Cottage

DanielaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Ocean view cottage is a well presented and well kept house, very clean and welcoming. We enjoyed the view of the sea and passing clouds during the day from the living room. We selected this area because of the dark skies. During the night, we enjoyed the awesome starred sky from the cottage’s balcony.

Peaceful Cottage with Log Burner

AndyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The cottage was charming, spotlessly clean and with a really well equipped kitchen. The log burning stove in the lovely sitting room kept us nice and cosy. Peaceful and picturesque location but within easy reach of the town. Only half an hour on foot. The Kirkcudbright Galleries facility and Swally & Scran seafood restaurant are both particularly worth visiting. And lovely people as hosts!

Tranquil remote hillside cottage

ClaireRating, 5 stars15 months ago
My spaniel and I had the most wonderful 4 nights at this cottage, after a hectic family Christmas we loved our retreat. The cottage had everything we needed. One of the earlier reviews said it was like a "warm hug" and I agree. We mostly sat in the kitchen as it was warmest with the Rayburn on, it proved essential in drying clothes after 4 days of torrential rain. The area is just beautiful if you like, peace and tranquillity. We did not drive too far as I wanted to recharge and I loved that we could walk straight from the garden. We saw Roe Deer, magical. (spaniel very interested) and really loved the old gardens we stumbled across. Nick the estate manager was a gem, so many interesting stories and knowledge. We didn't see the owl :-( or red squirrels but that might have been because of spaniel! I really hope we can book another visit it really is a stunning location and the bed is super comfy. Lots of beautiful paintings on walls too. Thank you Lulu for sharing this family home

Creebank Cottage with river view

SalRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Really lovely house with a stunning view from the sitting room. We sat and watched the river most of the time, so peaceful. The house had everything we needed, was clean and very tastefully decorated. Centrally located so handy for shops and cafes etc. Situated in a really lovely part of Scotland. Excellent outdoor area overlooking the river too. The host was very responsive and gave us plenty of local information too. Thank you for a lovely week.

Beautiful secluded cottage for a romantic break

RobertRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The cottage was great... clean, comfortable, plenty of space (bigger inside than what you would think) and very quiet. Was ideally situated for us, visiting family in nearby Dalrymple. Would happily stay here again.
