Carole is always quick to respond which is wonderful!! Cottage was exactly what we needed and location was great for us!!

We had a wonderful stay. Lyn is a great host, helpful and very friendly. The house is very spacious and all around a lovely home from home. From the lovely welcome pack (even some treats for our dog which was a lovely touch) to lots of nice little touches throughout the home. An art studio which our kids absolutely loved and added something different to the accomodation to places we've stayed before. A perfect find of a home and location, we'd definitely recommend this place. I can only imagine a stay in the summer would be even more perfect.

A lovely stay. So lucky with the weather so once we we’re unpacked we we’re straight on the beach with the dog . The house was cosy and the heating system warmed the house quickly. Cooking was easy with a well equipped kitchen, an air fryer would be a good addition. Easy to chill out and watch the ships go by. Remember a usb plug for your gadgets. We will be back.

Beautiful cottage in a gorgeous location. We had a fantastic few days and hardly left the estate as it was so beautiful to walk around. The house was lovely and had everything we needed in it.

Rachael’s home was one of the most relaxing stays in an Air BnB we’ve had, the location is perfect for exploring the Ards Peninsula. Rachael is a lovely and relaxed host, her home is beautiful and comfortable, she was not at all fazed by our boisterous dogs which put us straight at ease. The gardens around the cottage are lovely and perfectly designed for our 9 year old to explore and enjoy an Easter Egg hunt. Overall a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend.

Beautiful little village, so peaceful and relaxing. Lots of lovely walks & great play area for kids. The house was lovely, well presented and the hot tub was an added bonus. The kitchen had an air fryer & toastie machine which is a great addition for families trying to make quick and easy meals. We loved our stay. The play park was fantastic with play area for young & older kids, bmx ramp & basketball court.

We had a lovely stay in the house for New Year. It’s ideally placed in the heart of the village with a great kitchen and warm cosy fire.

The warmth of welcome coupled with the genuine care offered throughout made this a first class stay. Even the threat of Storm Eowyn was no trouble for my host to offer additional time should I need it to avoid the weather. Superb 👌🏼

Beautiful, peaceful and perfect. Everything we wanted for New Year's Eve, it felt like we had a country estate to ourselves apart from the deer.

Just home from a weekend stay with our 2 young kids. We had a fantastic few days, some well needed down time ahead of a busy Christmas. The lodge was beautiful inside & out with everything you needed & more. The hot tub was a great addition - even in the Scottish rain! Karen is a superb host, couldn’t recommend this place enough! We will 100% be back in the summer months x

I booked Dorota’s place last minute for a peaceful get away with my daughter and friend It was everything we needed and more Peaceful and so beautiful It’s right on the end on the corner next to the gate to go into the forest and the field opposite with the horses made it for me Sat on the balcony with a cuppa listening to the birds and watching the horses The place is decorated so cute and feels so homely and has everything you need Dorota kept in touch throughout I was really felt like I was in a good friends place The dogs loved it lots of new smells along the forest walks and beautiful lochs My daughter and her friend went fishing both days Overall we had a lovely couple of days away We will definitely be back Thank you

The caravan was lovely, the park peacefully and the wee welcome book with hints and tips left by Angeline was a lovely touch.

Loved our stay here, great for the kids and the dogs and a very easy experience all round. Would certainly recommend.

We stayed for 2 nights and the weather was horrendous BUT the cottage more than made up for this. We had everything we needed for some peace and quiet and a well needed rest. Cosy, welcoming and SPOTLESSLY clean! The cottage is on the main road but we never heard any traffic and the river running alongside was a lovely backdrop. Log fire, Netflix, a hot tub great WiFi and plenty of space for us all (including our dog). There is also a sauna which we didn’t use. The cottage is well equipped for cooking and was never cold at all! Plenty of steaming hot water and lovely big bath was a highlight too. We didn’t need to contact Jane for much as her instructions were so easy to understand. The couple of messages we did send however were responded to immediately. We will definitely be back and hopefully have better weather so we can explore the local area more. Thanks so much Jane and see you again soon! x

Gail and David were fabulous hosts from meeting us when we arrived and explaining how things worked to great recommendations about places to visit during our stay. The cottage is beautifully presented with everything that you could need in a private and quiet location. David suggested one of his fields that we could take our two dogs to so that they could run around and the sink in the laundry was an ideal place to wash off the dirty paws before we went back inside. We were visiting in February but would like to come back in summer to take advantage of sitting outside in the beautiful garden.

I'd highly recommend this place if you're looking for a peaceful stay, slightly outside the city. The house is bright, spacious and airy, with a beautiful garden in a peaceful neighbourhood. It's located between a country park and the beach and is perfect for walking. Jannine is a very gracious host.

Steen’s cottage was immaculate, cosy and tastefully renovated. We had a very enjoyable and peaceful time and the welcome pack was a thoughtful addition. There were lots of lovely walks nearby and a beautiful outlook. Highly recommended.

we have previously stayed here as it's affordable, clean and as described. Vanilla is a great host and if there are any issues she does her best to sort these out efficiently. I would recommend staying at vanillas place.

Just back from spending Xmas day & Boxing Day at The Retreat Check in was easy & the accommodation itself was immaculate and a beautiful location Leah & Gary had decorated for us with beautiful lights & Xmas tree which made our stay extra special They had also left a bottle of Prosecco for us & left breakfast pack and milk which was a lovely & kind gesture The accommodation had everything we needed , towels , bedding , everything you could think of We really couldn’t speak highly enough of the hosts and their accommodation and we can’t wait to book up again
