AMAZING STAY AT TRENOSA! The instructions to get there were very clear. The single track road was a bit daunting but very doable and the tent and especially the views are extremely worth it! The safari tent was definitely luxury camping but lacked some amenities, would definitely recommend bringing your own kitchen cloths, tea towels and handwash/bar soap and any toiletries you need. The hot water, amazing shower and kitchen were all great! The welcome hamper was a lovely touch with local cheeses and local eggs! The beds are super comfortable and we all had amazing sleeps. It can get really chilly at night but the duvets provided were lovely and cosy. The only downside if you're squeamish like we are was the insects, there are lots of spiders and earwigs in the tent but it definitely didn't ruin our stay. The views and privacy are so worth it! Just book this place! You definitely will not be sorry!!

This is such a beautiful spot. The pictures don't do the lodge justice and the hot tub is one of the best we've ever used! There was so much space for the boys to play outdoor games and it felt completely safe. The hot water bottle on each bed were a lovely (and welcomed!) touch as well 😊 We found a great chippy 5 minutes down the road and Oswestry was a short drive away.

This is a lovely spot to stay. The hosts are very generous and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable, highly recommended.

Oliver went out of his way to see that our last min booking was ready for our arrival. He was especially patient and understanding of my kids, who usually take time to feel at ease in new environments. Oliver introduced all his farm animals and really helped them settle in. fantastic venue and great host!

What a place! An oasis in the middle of nowhere, everything was so well thought out. We stayed at the end of October and weren't cold at all. Gwenan was so helpful throughout, nothing was too much for her. The welsh cakes were amazing and now our favourite thing 😋 Our two dogs loved it also, the views were spectacular no matter the weather. Thankyou so much for the stay we are looking to return as soon as we can!

Our second trip to Wildman Woods and our stay was just as magical as the first time. The weather wasn’t kind but the tent didn’t move in all the wind! The kids has a fantastic time exploring the area, spotting all the wildlife and cooking on the campfire. Simple, back to basics luxury (sounds like an oxymoron, but really isn’t!!), our stay was a treat for the eyes and the soul. Thank you, Becky! We’ll be back! X

Short one night stay after a day walking in the hills. With Marc's clear instructions we found the place easily even in the dark, walking through snow, whilst being rained on! We stayed in the larger of the two tent options as our first choice of the smaller tent wasn't available. This turned out to be great luck, as the wood burner was very welcome at the end of a very wet and cold day! Great tent, with indoor wood burner, outdoor toilet, shower and kitchen. Great location, highly recommended for a peaceful getaway.

Couldn’t recommend this place enough, perfect for a mini get away with easy access to North wales (Snowdon National Park). Incredibly welcoming and lovely hosts, very friendly. Fully kited out outdoor kitchenette and utilities, perfect for a bbq and situated in a lovely area.

We stayed in Bluebell tent and it comfortably fitted the 5 of us . Stayed with kids, 12, 14 and 17 and all of them had a great time playing games in the field and with the dogs and chickens. The place was spotlessly clean in the tent and the bathrooms. Had all the amenities we needed, we make good use of the bbq and fire pit. Had lunch at The Queens Head pub which is about 10 minutes walk, food was good and reasonably priced.

Lovely safari tent, as described, matched the photos and description. we had a lovely stay.

Thank you Jess for creating such a breathtaking place-myself and my hubby spent 3 of the best nights we’ve ever had in your beautiful Yurt-it was extremely spacious & the bed felt like we were on a cloud-my husband is very fussy with beds and he said he has had the best nights’ sleep in the bed of dreams as we looked up to see the most incredible stars like we’ve never experienced before. The scenery to wake up to watching the epic sunrises is something else! Hot tub was amazing & to sit & watch the sunset in the tub was complete luxury for us & the fire pit & outdoor cooking was one of the best experiences of life to cook from the local butchers overlooking the views. Magical. You are such a kind, generous host and our stay was made special because you also let us feed your lambs! Thank you so much. We are booking again without a doubt.

We had such a great three night stay! ✨ Tent was so nice and the amenities were well kept..really handy to have an on-site fridge, kettle and microwave. We weren't able to get there til late Friday night and the check in was flexible, which was really appreciated. Would definitely recommend a stay here 😊

The place was absolutely beautiful! We were on a road trip and stayed only for one night, however felt right at home. The valley, the tent, the host - absolutely worth the money you pay. We rested so well in this quest environment, just what we needed. Children had loads of space to explore and even spotted an owl! Thank you, Maria, we would recommend this place 100%

Just back from staying in one of the tents "Poppy"with our 4 year old and little dog. Such a beautiful location, views from the tent were unreal. Although we only stayed 2 nights, we really enjoyed our stay, it was so peaceful and felt like we got back to nature. Whilst we were there we saw an amazing lightening storm over the hills, which we watched from the inside of our tent and the same night a meteor shower. Our host were great, to be honest apart from when we first got there we really see them, but there was always people about if you needed anything and nothing was too much trouble, but in a very laid back way. We would definitely recommend this if you want to get away from it all and back to nature.

Carys was super helpful and responsive. we had an issue with our tent and she was kind enough to point us to the nearest store that might help! Her husband is often seen maintaining the grounds also and is very welcoming and happy to stop for a chat Both lovely people and a beautiful area to stay. super close to the nearest village too which was great for grabbing fish and chips on our first night! Although there were other people staying, the grounds are big enough for you to still feel like you're the only guests there! Would definitely look to stay again (hopefully with no tent issues next time!!!) thanks Carys!

Amazing and idyllic place situated in the Welsh countryside. Christine and her partner were fantastic hosts and provided everything we needed to make the stay perfect. The tent is immaculate and the cabin is a fantastic addition with a great kitchen and bathroom, great water pressure in the shower and beautifully decorated. Lots of walkable trails that can be done even without a car nearby. The site itself is as tranquil as it gets and was very peaceful and quiet. Will definitely be coming to stay again - thank you Christine!

We had a lovely one night stay at here ,It was a beautiful setting and Lesley was a fantastic host.Nothing was too much trouble for her.She was super helpful and went out of her way to make sure we had a great stay.I would highly recommend a stay here to anyone and can’t wait to return. Maria's place was wonderful. everything was in great condition, extremely clean (especially the all important toilet). location was beautiful with lovely views over the Welsh hills and seemed very peaceful. Maria was really responsive and helpful and checked in on us to make sure we were doing ok (as well as dropping off Easter eggs for my our girls, really above and beyond). We stayed in a safari tent and we loved it, a large power bank gave enough power for a light and to charge phones and watches, lovely comfortable nights sleep. Thanks Maria!
