Elisa & Gerard’s extraordinary kindness was a highlight of my trip beside beautiful sunny Aix! I was a pick-up by Elisa’s kind husband when I arrived late evening. I had a wonderful 1 month stay at the Elisa’s. My morning of departure , Elisa arranged to have her husband drove me to bus station but, some minor disruption of public transportation delay. Gérard decided to drove me all the way to airport. Elisa & Gérard was a concerned for my flight schedule. I couldn’t thank you enough to Elisa and Gérard’s extraordinary kind gesture for help easing my anxiety ! I had a most comfortable one moth stay at the Elisa & Gérard’s place. I highly recommend Elisa’s place for anyone who wish to visit Aix en Provence! Elisa’s place is right next to beautiful Park La Torse( The River), 15 minutes walks to lovely Center Cours Mirabeau ,Cafe and fantastic Restaurants. We loved this preprint retreat, the birdsong, the comfortable cottage, very cozy, very nice finishes in the details, very beautiful. Walks around the cottage very nice. Car ride around and into the breathtaking gorges. Lovely stay. If we can we will come back. We had a very precious resting time.✨Thanks to Manon, his charming dad and talented cartoonist as well as your dear cute and discreet retired sheep. 😊

The apartment was absolutely stunning. Every detail had me enamored. The views are spectacular. It was quiet, cozy and the bed was very comfy. We stayed in April which is a little early in the tourist season so finding restaurants that were open was a little difficult. Google / Apple maps were not in sync with the restaurants as far as who was open and when. But the crepes and gelato spot just down the street was our favorite! We went almost every day :)

Tayakout is a golden host! Caring, generous, she offers a very pleasant welcome in a living environment that is just as pleasant. The apartment is functional and full of charm, you feel at home there thanks to the warmth of the place and Tayakout. Finally, the environment is just as soothing… a small town above the Bâtie Neuve surrounded by forests, rivers and plenty of hiking trails to satisfy nature lovers! Finally, the view from the terrace of the mountains is exceptional and the apartment even has a small cozy and well-appointed garden with small table, deckchairs and darts games.
