An unforgettable vacation in Arcadia! We spent 5 wonderful days in this apartment within the Mistico complex, an incredible place with access control and 24/7 security. Surrounded by a tropical forest, we enjoy nature to the fullest, seeing monkeys walking through the trees, iguanas and a great variety of birds. We also explored the place by walking and enjoyed a spectacular sunset on the nearby beach. The apartment is perfect, with all the necessary amenities, air conditioning in the bedrooms and the main room, in addition to an excellent internet connection that allowed us to enjoy nights watching movies on Netflix and Amazon. The location is unbeatable, with restaurants and mini super nearby to get everything you need. We also visited nearby beaches and enjoyed delicious local food. Arcadia is an ideal place to relax, enjoy family and connect with nature. It was an unforgettable experience and we would certainly go back!

David was an excellent host, the place was pristine and the kitchen very well stocked… even had a French press :-) David was gracious and let us check out 3 hours after the original time. If you stay at David’s place, Mistico Resorts is very nice but mostly empty during the week. We stayed with our two boys so the three bedrooms were very much welcome! I highly recommend to stay there again.

The house is stunning, exactly as shown in pictures. The infinity pool and views are breathtaking. My kids were in the pool the whole time. Fully equipt huge kitchen. We cooked breakfast and lunch most days, had everything we needed. We hired a private chef to cook dinner one night and it was fabulous. They grilled the filets on the BBQ and cooked everything else on the stove top and oven. Had everything they needed to prepare a fancy dinner. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean and spacious. The hosts were super responsive and accommodating. They recommended places to eat, shop and have delivery. The only downside I'd mention to set expectations is that there were a few times where the hot water was slow to warm up. Also the air conditioners in the bedrooms worked but we would have preferred it to be slightly cooler. This might be common across Costa Rica as we stayed in 3 Airbnbs this trip and the other places had similar situations and those other 2 were much smaller houses.
