I stayed three nights at Tatiana's condo overlooking lively, centrally located Piazza Garibaldi. I arrived and departed by bus, and the unit is a short walk from the bus stop. The unit was spotlessly clean and exactly as described in the listing. Comfortable bed and plenty of extra linens, pillows, and towels. A number of restaurants, cafes, and food stores are on the piazza or within a short walk. Tatiana is an exceptional host. She replied to my messages very quickly, provided input about bus travel from Palermo to Agira, and even assisted me in trying to find an English-speaking resident to show me around Agira. Check-in was easy; I met Tatiana at the unit, and she provided the key and showed me around. She also messaged me during my stay to confirm that all was well. I would stay at Tatiana's condo again, and I recommend it to others visiting Agira.

A lovely little hideaway in the centre of Caltagirone's old town. Only 2 minute's walk from the Scalinata di Santa Maria del Monte and all the historic sites as well as restaurants, and cafes. The place is perfect for a weekend get-away for two. Clean, quiet, comfy bed, and you wake up to a fantastic view over the rooftops of Caltagirone. Donatella picked us up from the station and pointed out all the important sites on the way to the apartment. She was always ready to answer our questions and offer help. We highly recommend the apartment.

Paola's house is a small structure but complete with everything, maybe even more, definitely to be recommended.

Being with Sonja and Pippo has been the highlight of our trip to Sicily for several weeks. You live in an outbuilding of Sonja and Pippo's house in the middle of a beautiful garden, which you can fully use including several seating options (even a swing, and in summer there is also a pool!). The location is perfect for exploring Etna, Catania and the surrounding villages. However, you definitely need a car. Be sure to accept Sonja's offer and be cooked by her! We had two wonderful evenings in their conservatory with our friends who were visiting. If you are traveling with children, they are welcome and there is everything you need. Highly recommend!
