Extremely pleased with our stay. Could not have asked for anything more. The apartment is beyond expectations. Incredible view, walkable to all attractions downtown, several amazing food places near, all the tourist shops near, all items one might need, comfortable bed, best shower ever. Host communicated regularly throughout our stay. Highly recommend.

Great communication, beautiful home. We had everything we needed. Views were amazing. Close to lots of stores and restaurants. Klara was a gracious host, very accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We plan to come back in the summer next year and will stay here again. Thank you for everything!

Linda was a great host and the place was super cute. Private and SUPER convenient to get to everything we walked everywhere. Great places around and it was great to have a kitchen and a washer/dryer combo it was a great first stop on our trip.

Olafur was an incredibly accommodating host. Easy to communicate with. Nice clean space, located near a delicious bakery and public thermal pool. Place was homey and a great home base for exploring the city by scooter, car and walking! Highly recommend!

Nice and spacy apartment, perfect for 3-4 persons with fully equipped kitchen, big bathroom and cosy living room. nice location - easy to take day trips in this region. the only thing we missed was some space to hang/store clothes in the bedrooms.

Helena was warm, friendly and extremely helpful before we arrived and her house was simply wonderful. Clean, tidy, plenty of space and every bit as welcoming as Helena. The house felt really authentic and was a perfect base from which to explore this amazing country. We felt very much at home during our stay and we loved looking after Freyja (the cat). Helena left clear instructions as to how to navigate the house as well as lovely ideas for excursions. She contacted us ahead of our visit to send us information and replied to any of our queries straight away. We loved our time in Iceland and amongst all of our highlights of places we visited, returning home to Helena's house each evening was absolutely one of them. A very beautiful home and we feel lucky to have found such a gorgeous place to stay. Tim and Claire xx

Cozy, spacious apartment by the ocean near centre.

The apartment is occupied by the owners outside the rental periods, making it a clean, cozy and functional apartment. It is quite well located close to the sea and a 20 minute walk from the historic center. It is also possible to take public transport to get into town and to the BSI terminal (Bus station). We appreciated the communication with the owner who helped us a lot in organizing our stay. Highly recommend this apartment that met all of our expectations.

Great second floor flat, about 30min to downtown. Extremely friendly and helpful host. Easy property to find, great communication from host. Easy check in and out. Lovely clean, comfortable beds. Plenty of room for a family of 4 for a city break. Great, large bathroom with a powerful shower.

We had an absolutely perfect stay. Karl Davor told us several times that we just needed his things, so we were fine using, for example, spices, some flour, garbage bags, etc. We also had to use his hot tub at no extra cost, but of course you have to be aware that there is a smell of sulfur from the hot water, but Karl Davor has no influence on that. The beds were very comfortable and the house modern and nicely decorated. We were able to use the washer, dryer and dishwasher as well as Disney +. We had rented a car, so the distances to the sights were no problem. There is a small shop along with the gas station, where you can buy the essentials. The surroundings were a good fit for us. There are a lot of green areas/park with a playground. There is a very short distance to the beach, here you can find rocks and throws away. We didn't get to try the local swimming pool, but it's also within a short distance. We stayed here for 12 days and enjoyed every day the view of the mountain Esja.

Fantastic family accommodation. Beautiful views & stylish but practical interior. Lots for kids to do inside the house (for bad weather days!). Would highly recommend and we hope to stay there again if we come back to Iceland in the future!
