Citrus Creek Plantation is located in the middle of nature... connected to a beautiful river. A special place to experience jungle in Dominica. We had dinner every evening in the restaurant and enjoyed to get spoiled by the team...thanks for the beautiful days

Back to nature! In a beautiful constructed wooden cottage, a few steps from the river bank where you can take a refreshing dip. Outdoor shower, toilet and bed in the cabin. Kitchen outside. There is a 2 pit gas cooker, solar energy, no wifi (but we could get messages thanks to the generosity of the hosts) and no fridge (but the cool box with ice elements also worked fine)! It took about a 75 min drive from Roseau. Four wheel drive is needed for the bumpy access road. Good and nice communication with the hosts/owners Karine and Christoph who live close by and are very helpful and also respecting our privacy. We really, really enjoyed our days! Especially the hike (with a guide) to the Victoria falls was a highlight. Thanks so much!!!

Melissa and Andy were amazing hosts! We just stayed there for two nights to kick off our honeymoon and our flight got delayed and we weren’t able to arrive until midnight to their place. Melissa said that was fine and had Andy meet us at midnight to zip line us in to ensure we would get in alright, unbelievable hosts. Melissa’s cooking is 10 out of 10 using all ingredients grown on their farm or locally produced. We wish we could’ve stayed for another week but they were booked… no surprise there! The listing was as described and loved the stay! The kitchen was well equipped for everything you want / need to make. The responsiveness was top tier and always made sure we were good. Beautiful and peaceful outside area with the pool that we enjoyed. We had a minor issue with bugs, I believe they were june bugs or some sort of beatles, in the restroom and flying into the bed area. Pretty annoying but we're a little bougie lol. We bought bug spray and sprayed around the restroom for additional protection to not much avail. Literally no problem on the behalf of Joseph's part. The property was as clean as I'd ever anticipate in that location. 5 stars all around. The accommodations, the responsiveness, the surrounding local community (Patrick's, Shyna's and The Farmacy) were all a highlight of our trip to Dominica 🇩🇲.
