Monthly Rentals in Rungneet Tea Garden

Sahils homestay really feels like home. His family is friendly and takes good care of you with very tasty masala chai and good dinner and breakfast. The place is quiet and easy to reach from Darjeeling by shared jeep (from Darjeeling shared taxi stand it is 30 rupees to Lebong). We stayed here multiple times in between hikes in the Singalila National Park and in Sikkim. There is a possibility to wash your clothes and there are shops nearby. All in all we had a great time!

Extremely helpful people, the place and the people both were really enticing. The rooms were really cozy with a good view and lots of amenities just ready to be used. They also provided warm water without charge and the Garden (on God) was the best thing!! I'm coming back here as soon as my next Work Leave gets approved 😅

Rishi is an extremely good host with excellent communication, one of the best Airbnb hosts we have had the pleasure of meeting. The property was very comfortable, if a little cold in mid-Winter. Plenty of duvets and blankets, so warm in bed! This property is best for people who want to cook for themselves, as local restaurants are a bit limited and it is a long way to town, but food is available to purchase locally to cook at home. But please note that the kitchen has no refrigerator (not a problem in Winter), and no plug for the sink, making it a bit difficult to do the dishes! Overall a very good choice, as it is handy to the zoo and historic parts of Darjeeling.
