Pet-friendly holiday rentals in San Gimignano

The stay at the Capocontro estate was very satisfying. The entire ancient hamlet is a jewel set in the countryside, with spectacular views of the woods of Val di Chiana. The accommodation is tidy and clean, picturesque and elegantly retro. Piero and Lella were very helpful in communications and suggestions for places to visit and where to eat. We loved the peace and quiet of the place, as well as the pool with a view. We stopped for a short time and the weather was a bit capricious, otherwise we would have enjoyed the farm's outdoors more. The only small flaw: the dishes and the fridge were not exactly immaculate, but nothing that can't be solved with a sponge. Super recommended for both a short and a long stay, so you can enjoy the quiet of the place and visit the surrounding area.

We had a lovely relaxing stay. The apartment had everything we needed, and we felt very welcome.

We were six adults, two children (3-year-olds) and one infant staying at the house for a week. It’s located in a secluded spot with a large garden and beautiful views of the Tuscan landscape. We used all of the five bedrooms upstairs and they were dark and cool. The kitchen and living room downstairs also stayed cool. Right outside the kitchen there’s a really nice spot that’s in the shade for the most part of the day, where we had most of our meals. This is a great place to relax and enjoy a dip in the pool. However, you definitely need a car to get around. The gardener came around several times a day to maintain the pool etc. We appreciated this, but might be good to know if you’re looking for complete privacy. We also had some issues with the bathrooms; one toilet and a shower didn’t work properly but were fixed within a day and this didn’t affect our experience. The washing machine didn’t work despite repeated attempts by the host to fix it. The barbecue is in the trash room.

We are 2 couples from Australia and we don’t want to tell you how much we loved this place in case it’s not available for us to book again! Everything about Lorenzo’s place was perfect. The rain had caused a few problems but it was all sorted v. quickly. His instructions to arrive via Google Maps worked v. well. We felt like we were truely at home in a luxury hotel. The fireplace was fun - outdoor bbq great -beds so comfortable- showers lovely. Just note:- one bathroom is downstairs from the bedrooms. Everything we needed for cooking in the kitchen for 2wks. The restaurants in San Miniato however are fabulous especially our favourite bar Ethan’s. It’s a 10 minute easy walk into the old centre. We enjoyed an amazing Farm-cooking experience at Francesco’s place - ask Lorenzo about it.

Our stay here was perfect! It is such a lovey Tuscan place that made us feel right at home. It is a short 10 minute walk from the center of Greve and it provides lovely views of the surrounding areas. Luana is very kind and quick to respond to our questions. We highly recommend this place for future guests! The only advice we can give for guests staying anywhere in Tuscany is to pick up some mosquito spray - they are everywhere.

Our stay was super nice, we were welcomed very warmly by Isabella and Claudio, the two gave us many good suggestions for excursions, where there were also a few secret tips of the region. Furthermore, the two were always open to questions and a super warm communication. Overall, we were allowed to spend a super nice week full of exciting day trips and relaxing days in the sun.

A dream come true, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy where peace ,tranquility and simplicity reign. Borgo di Quota 10 minutes from the village Poppi along a well-maintained bending road accessible to everyone,among other things in the village of Poppi you can find all the services possible. A special mention to Host Claudia , a wonderful person as well as the apartment. But I think words are not enough for a place so you have to live it,and I add that you eat really well in the area. Forgotten in Quota you will also find a very well-stocked shop run by special people.

Filippo and Teresa were great. They made us feel at home and the place was amazing. Recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Tuscan stay.

We reached the destination and immediately felt like being at home. Such a nice country-house, quiet surroundings and a most gorgeous and large pool. This little hamlet was ideal for a group of several families wanting a Tuscan holiday. Christina was a very responsive host, always available for help and suggestions. One down side was the distance from many of the Tuscan attractions such as Florence and Sienna. The hamlet is reasonably remote so is ideal for those who want a secluded holiday rather than those who want to see the sights of Tuscany.

We had a nice weekend in the tranquility of the Tuscan hills in an area not far from Arezzo. The pool is quite large and you can relax quietly on the sun loungers. The apartment is very cozy and equipped with everything you need with an outdoor patio to have breakfast or meals. Finally, another plus point goes to Marika for the hospitality, hospitality and description of the place with the various activities to do. A truly impeccable host from whom you can see a true passion for her work by taking care of the maintenance of common spaces

We had a great stay at Piandarca. Davide met us at check-in and showed us to our apartment. After check-in offered welcome drinks which we enjoyed in the nearby veranda. The entire property is beautiful, with plenty to explore. Very pet friendly as well (a few dogs, cats, chickens, etc.). Plenty of amenities available, including optional extra's. We took advantage of a cooking class on-site one rainy afternoon, which was led by Anna and Davide in their on-site kitchen. As a group of Americans who can't speak any Italian, taking a cooking class led by the lovely Anna who can't speak English, was a very entertaining evening (it's all in the hand movements!). Luckily we had Davide to translate for us when needed. Our stay was the first week in October, and while the pool was open, it was too cold to use.

A fantastic time. We were very satisfied with our 2 toddlers. The apartment looked much better than in the photos. Sparkling clean and well equiped kitchen. We had the most fun by the pool, beautiful views, and super quiet. Only 45 min. from Pisa Tower. The hostess was very nice and helpful. We will definitely come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend. Barbara was gracious and great to work with. The house was charming and just as great as it looks on the listing. The property and grounds are amazing. The town nearby was fun to visit with everything you need and lots to see. You are also in easy driving range of the other main Tuscany towns. The place is really a dream! We had a lovely, relaxing time with Deborah. The pool and location are great and Deborah gives great recommendations, is totally warm and you feel right at home. And we liked it so much that we want to come back!

We really loved our stay, the beautiful surroundings and the place was even better than the pictures. Alfredo was very responsive and friendly. Would really recommend if you’d like a peaceful stay with close proximity to local Tuscan villages to explore.

Had all necessities needed. Helpful neighbors with check in and check out. Good location with free parking!

Boggina was such a beautiful setting for our two families. There is no air conditioning, but the house kept beautifully cool by using the shutters in the day and using fans at night. The bedrooms were dreamy, full of trinkets from families past. The pool was fantastic and we enjoyed a lovely wine tasting tour! We basically didn’t want to leave! Many thanks team Marco 😊

We had a great time. the location is surrounded by the main amenities of the village and the beach is about 8-10 by foot. Very suitable if you had young children, because there is Bibbolandia in the area. Simone is very available to resolve any issues.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The unit is very high quality and well furnished with everything we needed. The location is literally steps from the main square and all the main attractions. The kitchen is well stocked with very high quality tools which was a plus for us. We also really appreciated having a large bed since that’s what we are used to at home but is not common in Italy. Lastly, the Internet was super fast and allowed us to get some work done. Would love to stay again in the future!

Patrizia's place is perfect to visit Florence. The tram is 2 minutes walk and within 18 minutes we were already on the city centre. The flat was clean and well equipped. We were with our dogs and the big green behind the block was great. highly recommend place
