Holiday rentals with breakfast in San José Province

Pura Vida - Great host and location. Walkable to the beach and several restaurants. Calm oasis in the back yard, where we could see Tucans, howler monkeys and an array of birds! Host is very responsive and we also appreciated having air conditioning as well as a washer / dryer. Uvita is a great place to visit with a ton of fun activities, and having the small pool onsite was really nice to escape the hot midday sun. The full kitchen is also a bonus. Modern, easy - with good WiFi and a good host. The howler moneys did wake us up in the morning, but that was actually pretty cool alarm clock - although they sounded like a sick dog!!! We stayed at 3 places, all of which said you’d see moneys, never saw any and we saw them all from the comfort of the shaded porch here.

My host, David was exceptionally nice, and thoughtful. I felt a kinship with him and he was very knowledgeable about the farm and plantlife. This was one of my favorite air Bnb stays!

Pictures do not do justice to this place. Great part of town. Even allowed us to park inside secured gate for our rental car. Andres was awesome. Highly recommend!!

We only stayed one night because we were in transition. The accommodation is ok for the asking price. But let's say I wouldn't spend a vacation in this place but it's great to cut off the road between two destinations. Lilliam is very nice and responds very quickly. We had an unforgettable stay at Victoria’s house at Las Nubes Atenas! If you’re reading this and looking for a relaxing, beautiful vacation - just save yourself some time and book it. Waking up to the mountain views from our room was awesome. The beautiful bed, well-stocked kitchen, and the fresh fruit straight from the farm were great touches. Everything felt so thoughtfully done. Stunning views everywhere you look. We took advantage of the many services Victoria offered: massage by Andrea, dinner by Rosa, sauna by the pool. We definitely recommend planning to stay at the Airbnb to enjoy it for a few evenings. Victoria helped us arrange a rental car and airport taxi. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, thanks to her clear instructions. Victoria and Mark were the most gracious hosts—attentive and warm. We will definitely recommend this gem to our friends and family :)

Eight of us stayed at Casa de Luna 3/22/25 for five days. We were ALL happy with the home we stayed in, its surroundings, so quiet. It seems the only sounds heard were from the wildlife. Lots of wildlife that we wouldn’t typically see in our home state of Florida. The house is stunning! I had Literal Tears come to my eyes when I walked in. We suggest hiring Chef Manuel that the mgmt company recommends. Oh my gosh, this young man has the whole world to conquer. He’s starting with Costa Rica. First time any of us hired a personal chef. Do it! You don’t hear airplanes, or cars at this home. We do recommend the affordable private air charter from San Jose to Quepos. Along with asking the mgmt company to set up transportation for you, anywhere. All of us decided we would definitely return to Costa Rica and use OSA prop mgmt. The people are happy, the country is nothing just gorgeous, and we have so much more to see in CR. I’m telling ya, Book this place. We had an amazing time!

I had a nice stay at this home. We enjoyed the many places to sit and relax inside and outside the house. Swimming pool was very nice.

Eva’s place was beautiful! Just as pictured!! The view and the deck overlooking the ocean was incredible! The welcome from the monkeys was awesome!! They were so fun to watch from the deck! We were welcomed in person with lots of different recommendations. I also loved the shower with the big open window. I would totally recommend staying here and would love to stay again next time I come! Thanks Eva and Michiel!

This was my second stay in Gustavo's place. Gustavo is an amazing host, and one of the best hosts that I've experienced on Airbnb. He is very responsive, and provides many toiletries that other places did not provide. The apartment is big, clean and has an amazing view. The apartment is in a good location and has many things that are walkable. I would definitely stay in Gustavo's place again.

Suites with an excellent location on the savannah. In the surrounding Supermarkets and restaurants.

Easy to find. Very close to many things. Restaurants, shopping, parks, buses, church, etc. Easy walk to San José Centro Fairly quiet end of Calle 33 - except Saturdays until 11:30 or 12. Host very responsive. Simple but quite adequate! Mari, the housekeeper, very sweet and helpful!

Great stay for our 1st night in Costa Rica

This B&B is gorgeous!!! The room was comfortable with an in suite bathroom. There’s a terrace where you can relax that’s absolutely stunning. I ordered dinner the night I stayed and it was delicious, as was the breakfast (huge portions). Laurie was helpful in arranging airport transfer which was only a 15 minute drive from her place. It’s a quiet neighborhood and great place to stay if you want to be near the airport or away from the craziness of downtown San Jose.

we stayed in Casa Mano De Tigre's just for a day. its an amazing property, we will plan longer trip later soon. highly recommend for everyone

This stay was truly special. The property was beautiful and peaceful, and from the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The host went above and beyond. Not only welcoming and kind, but also cooked amazing meals that made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for more than just a place to stay.

If you need accommodation near the airport, this will be a perfect choice! Edward is very nice and helpful. He picked us up from the airport late at night. At the end of the holiday he took us to the airport very early in the morning! Thank you. The accommodation is excellent. You just have to expect the noise of the landing plains. But that is the price of accommodation near the airport and it will be an issue of every accommodation in this area.

The place is amazing, is a resort next to the beach with a private road to it. The staff is GREAT, the common areas are awesome, and is relatively close to the things you can do in Manuel Antonio, I would say that if you are looking for a nature retreat PLEASE BOOK THIS HOTEL, is surrounded by beautiful fauna and the views are just great. Only thing is that the host doesn't respond or give indications to get to the place I guided myself thanks to a comment that said the name "Shana by the beach" you can just google it and the gps will take you there.

Great place to stay, close to airport. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Very friendly host, Edwin even offered to drive me to the airport at 4 am! I was there only for one night. The room is spacious with a large and very comfortable bed / mattress. Big bathroom with everything you need. All was meticulously clean, and welcoming. I used the jacuzzi to relax. I would stay here again!

This place is a great find and an amazing location for the park, we loved seeing the wildlife in the garden and relaxing by the pool too. The staff were really friendly and helpful with parking and the bags. The breakfast was delicious and generous. Overall, this was great value and I would recommend.
