Cabin holiday rentals in San José Province

Beautiful location. Cannot beat it. You can hear the ocean and are steps away from a gorgeous beach that is not crowded at all. My children loved the small tub on the back porch especially when it was raining. Our stay was magical!

We went to this beautiful cabin to celebrate my sister's birthday and had a great time, quiet everything was clean and tidy. We used a lot of things the cabin has to offer and we were able to enjoy. If we think and hope to come back. 🙏✨🙌👌 Thanks to Karla for being an excellent host.

The very nice place, the only thing is that in the main room the light sticks full at 6 am, otherwise,a very nice cabin

We stayed for a wedding, the accommodation was clean, tidy, cozy and the kindness of Sergio and Andrea at all times made us feel at home. The well-equipped kitchen.

A magical experience. The cabin is perfect for a couples getaway: warm, cozy and with a breathtaking view of the mountains. Each corner invites you to rest, from the terrace to the jacuzzi overlooking the forest. At night, the starry sky was the brooch of gold. Everything exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back.

A lovely rustic property surrounded by nature and sweet farm animals made this accommodation perfect for our family to stay for a night. The family was incredibly warm and welcoming to us.

A super cute little cabin, you enjoy the tranquility of nature. The balcony is very cozy and a perfect place to relax. Everything was clean and smelled rich. Definitely a place to go back.

Impressive. No other words required, however I shall elaborate. I was not expecting what is offered at the accommodation and would have stayed longer if I could. The location is somewhat remote at a high elevation. The cabin has character and is well furnished. I have to come up with a reason to stay there again.

Quiet and nice cabin , very relaxing excellent for large families, the fireplace is perfect.

If you are needing a quiet place to stay among the tree tops or wanting to be close to Nauyaca waterfall, this is your place. We mostly just slept here but the view off the deck is beautiful and Danielle was super accommodating in letting us know a late check out was available so we could shower after the waterfall. The waterfall shower was wonderful and warm!

This location is awesome. We were excited to stay riverside in a private, rural location so we could enjoy a cool swim and let our dogs run around and we were not disappointed. Even better, there are nearby walking trails to an epic waterfall and swimming area and also to a natural hot spring. The accommodations were pretty rustic, which is what we expected since the venue is described as "Glamping," but the place is spacious and we were comfortable and enjoyed cooking and also we enjoyed the traditional meal prepared for us by our host (arranged in advance). Any questions or needs we had were attended to immediately by our hosts. Keep in mind that this property is served by solar energy so you will not find a microwave or other energy-hog small appliances. The drive does require a 4WD vehicle, but it is not a difficult drive and any small sport SUV could handle it. If you like the sound of a rushing river, you will love this place.

Posada Mimosa is on an open-view hillside with quiet solitude. I saw monkeys, toucans, aracari's & agagoutis. Only by chance I saw this wildlife passing by. A large infinity pool is connected to the rancho which is a covered and enclosed kitchen perfect for guest use. Loungers and chairs to look out over the valley and relax. Have a party, small wedding, intimate company retreat! Wifi is available throughout - in your room, the rancho and by the pool. Friendly Claudio is the manager. He is fluent in Spanish and English. With William the gardener and Lixe the housekeeper they make a great team. All in all, a very pleasant, relaxing lounging and refreshing stay to recharge. I can't recommend Posada Mimosa enough to just slow down, no worries, no cares. P.S. The bus to Grecia leaves 45 minutes after the hour (a 5 minute walk past the electric security gate) Monday - Saturday and costs 545 colones. It leaves Grecia on the hour from the municipal market, about a 35 minute trip each way.

We really needed a place to disconnect from activity and reconnect with our Creator and ourselves and Eden Atenas was the perfect place for that. The colors and sounds of all the flowers and birds gently refreshed would souls to that we could be completely renewed. What an incredible blessing!
