This place was exactly what we needed; easy to visit the historic center of Lecce, and easy to visit other parts of Salento, and parking right in front of the door. The house was spacious and clean, and Gianni was very helpful, kind, and responsive. We really appreciated the breakfast items and the pasticciotto! There is not much going on in the neighbourhood, but our children were happy enough with a playground at about 10 min walk.

Patrizia is a lovely host who was very flexible for our arrival. The apartment is beautiful (not to say luxurious) Arriving by car, we enjoyed the ease of parking nearby (and the low price of public parking on the streets surrounding the accommodation) The apartment is 5 minutes walk from the historic center of Lecce in a peaceful area We would have gladly spent more time there than the 3 nights we booked there

Valeria and her husband Paolo met us at the front entrance. They took us up the lift and walked us through the entire flat. We learned how to operate any and all flat requirements which were few and easy. They also wrote down a number of eating options for us by type of food, budget wise and distance on foot in near/far options. The hospitality was much appreciated! There is a coffee shop with bar, a fruit/veg store right below the flat, so convenient! Neither establishment is open past 8:00 pm so not a noise issue. Lastly when our taxi didn’t show up Valeria offered to drive us to the train station. That was a very kind gesture and we really appreciated her going out of her way. Do not miss the opportunity to stay here if one comes up. Yes it’s a small walk to town center 15 minutes or less but it is worth the few extra minutes to have peace and quiet and to have Hists like Valeria and Paolo!!! We had a super stay!

We stayed at Barbara's place for 2 and a half weeks this February. It is a beautiful apartment located within the old city walls. You enter on the ground floor into the lounge with a small separate kitchen. Up the stairs to a first floor bedroom with a separate shower room/toilet/bidet. Then up stairs to the second floor where there is a small open terrace with seating and a garden. We found Barbara to be an excellent host (although she was away on business we kept in touch on the phone) and she was always at hand to help. Her House manager Raimonda greeted us and explained how everything worked and did a linen/bedding change for us after a week. The apartment was well heated, very clean and extremely comfortable. We enjoy cooking and the kitchen had everything we needed, there is a good supermarket nearby by the city gates (The Supermarket Di Lecce Srl ) and an even better one near the Public gardens (Dok Supermarket).
