Monthly Rentals in San Sebastián Río Hondo

We had a really good time in San Mateo. Sometimes it got a bit noisy in the night due to explosive noises in the surrounding area and the ground outside was very prickly so you have to wear shoes, Overall, the cabin has everything you’ll need and making fire in the night and stargaze is an absolute highlight!

I loved this sweet little family-oriented mountain community. I had a massage with Rachel down the street and hiked by the river. Enjoyed amazing views and Janet’s magical garden. The bed is soft and comfortable and it gets very dark at night, so I slept deeply. There’s a wood fireplace right next to the bed which was a treat for me - I love gazing into a fire. There is a market a short walk away with fruits, vegetables, locally made nut butter, and locally grown peaches. I was able to make all of my own meals, though there are restaurant options nearby too. Janet provided a useful list of everything to do: massages, temazcal, cooking lesson, mushroom ceremonies… Note there is no ATM nearby, and especially if you like cozy sweaters and other local handicrafts, you’ll want to have some cash on you. The bathroom is a short walk from the house and a flashlight would be helpful at night.

Very comfortable and beautiful I really liked the windows and the terrace with the view, only the smell of humidity and that a curtain was missing, a little removed from the village if you don't have transportation

Such a beautiful location. Fres was highly responsive and helpful. It was a very relaxing environment and the place was cozy and beautiful. Recommend!
